The future of news isn't more content — it's understanding. gg2 is your window on the world: the day's big stories, in the few minutes you actually have.
Every hour, the internet argues about something new. gg2 takes the day's trending stories and decodes each one into a single clean card — what happened, why it happened, and what it means for you. Skip the long reads. Understand any big story in 30 seconds.
ONE CARD. THE WHOLE STORY.
• The Picture — one image from the story's own coverage, credited on the card
• The Gist — what happened, and why it matters, in two beats
• Background — the context everyone assumes you already know
• Timeline — how it unfolded, date by date, latest development marked
• What They're Saying — every side, side by side
• Unconfirmed — the claims nobody has proven yet
• Sources — receipts, always
SWIPE. GET IT. MOVE ON.
Your day's stories, dealt as a deck. Swipe through in minutes. Tap in when you want depth. Save what matters. Follow what isn't over yet. Breaking stories are marked in red, so you know when something is happening right now.
HONEST BY DESIGN.
Built on three principles: truthfulness, timeliness, accuracy. gg2 is AI-assisted — and it shows its homework. Sources cited. Unverified claims flagged, not hidden. Because confidence without evidence is just noise.
TWO LANGUAGES. ONE TAP.
The full experience in English and 简体中文. Switch anytime. Same stories, same clarity.
NO LEARNING CURVE.
No complex features, nothing to configure. Light, dark, or follow your system. Beautiful, intuitive, instantly usable — everyone's first trending-news explainer.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Faster and fresher. Today's cards now show up the moment you open gg2, and the app quietly refreshes them in the background before you come back. New trending stories reach your feed within minutes instead of waiting for the next scheduled update, and the "new stories" pill only appears when there really is something new. Also: a refreshed About page.
