Snap a page of English homework to see which answers deserve a second look. A parent has to say yes first. · New — Reading: every sentence group now comes with a short passage you can read aloud and get scored on. · The word list grew to 1,671 words across 271 levels — still one path from start to finish. · Redrawn onboarding and membership pages, with hand-drawn icons in place of emoji. · The milestone test moved to the Me tab, where you can see how many levels are left. · Fixed letters from the previous question sometimes staying in the tiles on spelling questions.

• New first-month offer on the monthly VIP plan in eligible regions. • A clearer VIP page: monthly and yearly each on their own row, with the first-month price and renewal price spelled out. • First launch now goes straight to the welcome guide, without flashing the home screen first. • Other small improvements.

• A new level map: each unit sits on its own island, cleared levels turn into gold medals, upcoming ones are treasure chests, and the path you've walked is paved with coins. • Change the app language right inside the app: Settings › Language, and it switches instantly. • Settings has been tidied up, with one row per option. • Fixed the screen jumping when switching tabs, plus other small improvements.

• One path all the way: no more picking a grade or book. 1,083 words and sentences are laid out as 166 levels, one after another, with a milestone exam every 20 levels — pass it and claim your prize from your parents. • A new “My turn”: a sound wave shows while you record, tap the check mark when you're done to get your score, then use “Hear my voice” to play back what you just read. • New sentence practice: every pattern has “Record & compare”, so you can record yourself and compare with the model. Recordings stay on your device — never uploaded or scored. • Three reading speeds (Slow / Medium / Normal), switchable in Settings and next to every “Listen” button. • VIP now costs less, and the purchase page has been reorganised to show plainly what VIP adds and what stays free. • Streak make-up cards only appear when your streak is actually broken, so they're no longer used up by accident. • Removed: the book picker, and the “cloud sync” option that needed your own server. iCloud sync works as before.

• One look for everyone. The app used to switch between three skins by grade, so changing books changed the whole interface. Grades 1–9 now see the same Gulu, the same type and the same layout, and the three-way skin picker in Settings is gone with it. • The Grade exam is available at every grade, not just 7–9. • The book picker now shows how many words and levels each book holds. • Usage data & crash reports: the switch in Settings has been removed, and this data is now collected as you use the app, to find the levels that trip people up and fix crashes. Learning progress and read-aloud recordings are still never collected, and nothing is used for advertising. The guardian consent for read-aloud scoring is unchanged — no recording leaves the device before it is given.

• Four tabs instead of five. Gulu's den, the sticker book, Prizes and the Mistake log all moved under Me, so there's one place to look. • Learning screens gained a status bar: current book, streak, stars and VIP status at a glance. • Settings is its own page now, behind the gear in the top right of Me, instead of sharing a column with your stars. • New Usage data & crash reports switch (Settings → Privacy), off by default. Turning it on helps us find the levels that trip people up and fix crashes faster. Learning progress and read-aloud recordings are never sent.
