Jap first. Scroll later.
Choose the apps that pull you in — Naam rests them behind a flame. Turn a mala, sit in dhyaan, and earn Focus Coins; spend the coins on a timed scroll break. When the break ends, the flame returns. No shame, no lectures. The feed can wait its turn.
THE MALA
One full round of 108 naams, bead by bead, on a turning mala. Pull or tap — whichever your hands know. Quarter marks at 27, 54, and 81 keep you placed. A finished mala earns +11 Focus Coins.
FIVE NAAMS
ॐ Om · राम राम Ram Ram · ॐ नमः शिवाय Om Namah Shivaya · हरे कृष्ण Hare Krishna · गायत्री मंत्र Gayatri Mantra. Devanagari first, transliteration always alongside.
SIT IN DHYAAN
A quiet timer with nothing to watch. Every full minute of stillness earns +2 coins.
THE FLAME GUARD
Built on Apple's Screen Time. You choose which apps rest behind the flame; Naam never hides or removes an app, and your selection never leaves your device. Switching the guard off is always free — nothing ever stands between you and that switch.
SCROLL BREAKS
15, 45, or 120 minutes. Spend Focus Coins, the flame steps aside, and a countdown keeps the time honest. When it ends, the flame returns on its own.
COINS ARE EARNED, NEVER SOLD
There is no way to buy Focus Coins — not in the app, not with Naam Pro. The only path to a scroll break runs through your practice.
YOUR SADHANA
A daily streak, morning and evening practice markers, and your week at a glance.
NAAM PRO
The practice is free forever — jap, dhyaan, streak, and all five naams, never interrupted and never behind a paywall. On the free tier, starting a scroll break asks you to watch a rewarded ad; with Naam Pro you are never shown an ad. Naam Pro also shows your full practice history and adds the Sadhana widget to your Lock Screen. Choosing what the flame guards is free of ads for everyone, every time. Adding apps costs nothing. Removing apps costs 25 Focus Coins per save on every plan; your first removal is free, and so is anything you remove while setting Naam up.
QUIET BY DESIGN
No account, no sign-up. Your practice stays on your device.
Naam is built for Hindu devotional practice — for anyone who wants the next unlock to begin with a remembrance.

What's new in 1.1.1
· Install attribution — the privacy setting that tells us which of our ads led to your install — now starts during your first session where consent isn't required, instead of waiting for a later launch. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it stays off until you turn it on. You can change it any time in Profile → About → Privacy settings.
The practice stays free forever — jap, dhyaan, streaks, all five naams.
