Recipe Catch: Scan & Organize

Scan Photos, Links & Notes

Free · In‑App Purchases

Photograph a recipe card, paste a link, type a note — searchable in seconds. Now backed up to your private account: a new phone costs you nothing. A recipe is always one moment from being lost: a link, a photo of a card, something your aunt read out over the phone. Recipe Catch grabs it before it goes and keeps it in a private collection that belongs only to you. THREE WAYS IN • Paste a link – Drop in a recipe's address and Recipe Catch pulls out the title, ingredients and steps. No ads, no life story first. Also from TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest posts, when the recipe is written there. • Scan a photo – A recipe card, a cookbook page, a handwritten note. Text recognition types it up for you, entirely on your device. • Write it yourself – Sometimes typing is quickest. A clean editor, with categories, notes and your own photos. ORDER THAT LOOKS AFTER ITSELF Your recipes sort themselves into categories and your favourites stay pinned at the top. Search by title or by ingredient and find what you need in seconds. Make your own cookbooks too — Christmas, batch cooking, your grandmother's handwriting — and file recipes inside. A recipe can sit in several at once. THE APP SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE Recipe Catch is available in English, German, Spanish, French and Brazilian Portuguese, and switches under Settings → Language. AI, IF YOU WANT IT Four features call on an AI model, and only when you press the button. Nothing runs in the background, nothing across your whole collection. • Make it healthier — a lighter version of a recipe, suggested alongside the original • Translate a recipe — bring it into your language, with the amounts converted properly • Improve a scan — when a handwritten card won't divide cleanly into ingredients and method, AI sorts it out if you ask • Read the recipe from a post — paste a TikTok, YouTube or Pinterest link and AI pulls the recipe out of the caption Only the text of that one recipe is sent, and for an import only the post's own caption — never a photo, never your name, never your email address. COOK FROM IT Cooking mode takes you through one step at a time, full screen, with the screen kept awake. Pull up the ingredients whenever you need them, scale them to the number you're feeding, and switch between metric and imperial without leaving the step you're on. A HOME SCREEN WIDGET Your caught recipes at a glance, with your streak and a daily nudge to cook something again — without opening the app. NEVER LOST AGAIN Sign in once — with Apple, or with a code sent to your email — and your collection is safe. New phone, reset device, reinstalled app: your recipes, photos and notes come back. YOUR RECIPE BOX, AND ONLY YOURS Recipe Catch works offline. Your recipes live on your device and are backed up to your own private account on servers in the European Union — encrypted in transit and at rest, readable only by you. We don't mine them, we don't sell them, and neither we nor our AI provider train models on them. • Your collection returns after a reinstall or a new device • Text recognition runs entirely on the device: no photo is uploaded to read it • No ads, no advertising IDs, no cross-app tracking • Sign in with Apple or an emailed code — no password to remember SUBSCRIPTION Recipe Catch is a subscription app: the subscription unlocks the full app. Price and term are shown before you buy, and management happens in your Apple ID settings. Version 1.3 — recipes from TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest, and an ingredient list you can cook from. IMPORT FROM A POST Paste a TikTok, YouTube, Instagram or Pinterest link and Recipe Catch reads the recipe out of the caption. A Pinterest pin that points at a recipe site is followed to the site itself. When the recipe isn't written in the post — often it's only in the video — the app says so plainly and offers to take the caption if you paste it in. Like the other AI features, this one runs only when you press Import, never on its own, and the screen tells you before it does. Only the post's own text is sent. Details in the privacy policy, Section 2.8. INGREDIENTS WHILE YOU COOK Cooking mode has an ingredients button. It opens over the step you're on, so you don't lose your place — and from there you can scale the recipe to the number you're feeding and switch between metric and imperial. Your recipe is never changed. WET AND DRY Baking recipes now show their ingredients grouped into the dry bowl and the wet one, the way the method uses them. Recipes where that split doesn't mean anything are left as a single list. ALSO NEW • A calmer home screen, with your stats gathered into one card • Tips and clipboard offers moved to the top, where they're read • Onboarding now fits properly on smaller iPhones • Better contrast on buttons and labels throughout Tell us what's still missing: https://recipecatch.userjot.com
