VinCam turns your iPhone into a vintage film camera. No settings, no menus — you point, press the shutter, and watch your photo develop with real grain, faded colors and a burned-in retro date stamp. Just like the disposable in your drawer.
This is the opposite of a technical camera app. There are no sliders to fiddle with. Load a film stock, frame it in the optical viewfinder, and shoot. Every frame lands in a film roll, organized like the rolls you used to drop off for developing.
Ten film stocks, each built with real color science — warm 70s, cool poolside, punchy disposable, 90s camcorder, cross-processed expired film, classic black and white and more. Light leaks, halation and film-print borders finish the look. Then keep your shots in film rolls, or lock a private roll behind Face ID.

The film look is live in the viewfinder now. You see the grain, the colour and the halation before you press the shutter, not after — no more guessing what a stock will do.
Pinch to zoom, plus the lens buttons your iPhone has, a front camera for selfies, and a flash.
Two real faults in the film engine are fixed: at full resolution photos were coming out far too bright and washed out, and one stock developed much too dark. Grain is now the same texture whether you are looking at a thumbnail or the finished 12-megapixel photo.
Light leaks and the vignette now sit where they should whichever way you hold the phone.
