Every day brings a different omen, and Sundays bring something rarer. Find all thirty-two recipes, then find out what the workshop does with them.
Fire and Water make Steam. That is the whole of it...but that's also just the start.
Pocket Alchemist is a quiet incremental game about a moonlit workshop. You gather five essences, put any two of them in the cauldron, and find out what answers. Order never matters. A pair that fails is not a mistake — it leaves Residue behind, and Residue buys the help you need later.
Thirty-two recipes wait across four tiers, from Steam and Magma up to five ritual artifacts and the three Great Works beyond them. Every one you find stays found.
THE WORKSHOP
• Combine any two ingredients. The order never changes the result.
• A journal of clues for everything still hidden, with hints you can buy.
• Up to four benches that keep crafting while you are away, capped at eight hours so a long absence is never punished.
• Tune a bench to an element and it works faster on that family.
THE DAYS
• A different omen every day, favouring one element and hindering another.
• Sundays carry a conjunction — rarer, stronger, and worth planning around.
• An apothecary shelf of short-lived draughts, bought with Residue from your failures.
• A streak for finding something new, and mastery for the recipes you make most.
THE RITUAL
Five artifacts complete a ritual and begin a new cycle. It clears the shelves — but never the journal. Everything you have learned, mastered and unlocked is yours to keep, so each cycle is faster than the last. Insight earned this way buys a fourth bench, quicker hands, a fuller starting satchel.
Carry a Great Work into the ritual and it returns as more Insight still. Building one costs artifacts the ritual also wants, which is the question the late game keeps asking: one more, or finish now?
