Close bright circuits, master five reactors, chase fifteen stamps, then take RUNAWAY as deep as you can before the heat wins. Close the circuit. Keep it cool. Coilbloom is a portrait puzzle roguelite played on a small hex reactor. Place and rotate coloured path tiles, connect matching pipes, and close bright circuits before the heat reaches meltdown. EVERY TILE TICKS THE CLOCK Each placement adds heat. A closed circuit discharges, clears its tiles, charges the stage, and vents the reactor. Build carelessly and the core melts down. Fill the board without a legal move and it stalls. The only way through is to keep making loops. MASTER FIVE REACTORS The campaign is a ladder of five distinct reactors. The first teaches with one colour and room to breathe. Later coils add new colours, a tighter nineteen-cell board, and special hexes that cool a placement, vent a circuit, add energy, or punish a careless build. Contain one reactor to unlock the next. THREE WAYS TO MASTER EACH COIL Every reactor has three permanent stamps: • CONTAIN — clear the reactor • COOL — win without letting the heat climb too high • CHAIN — win with a long circuit or a strong combo COOL rewards safe, frequent loops. CHAIN asks you to hold out for something bigger. Fifteen stamps turn five reactors into fifteen different runs worth chasing. BUILD YOUR RUN Clear a stage and choose one of three temporary modules. Raise the heat ceiling, vent more from every circuit, earn more energy from small loops, lift the combo cap, or make scrapping cheaper. Take a module again to rank it up for that run. THEN LET IT RUN AWAY Contain the fifth reactor to unlock RUNAWAY, an endless mode that destabilises as it goes. It begins with one colour on a clean board. New colours and modified hexes arrive as the stages climb, while the target keeps moving away. Your deepest stage becomes the record to beat. SPEND WHAT YOU EARN Every run pays Research Shards, whether it ends in victory, meltdown, or a stall. Spend them in the Research Lab on permanent upgrades for the campaign. Finish the campaign and a second shelf opens with upgrades built for deeper RUNAWAY dives. MADE FOR SHORT SESSIONS • Finite runs fit a short mobile session • An interrupted run resumes exactly where you left it • A guided tutorial teaches placement, rotation, heat, energy, and scrapping • Core play and saved progress work offline • Reduced motion, high contrast, system text scaling, music, sound, and haptic controls • No account or sign-in Coilbloom is free and supported by ads. Banner ads stay on the title and results screens, never over the reactor. An interstitial appears after every third finished run. Optional rewarded ads can revive a melted core, replace a bad hand, or double the Research Shards from a run. The game remains playable when ads are unavailable or consent is denied.
