Baitcraft is a realistic freshwater fishing simulator where the water sets the rules. Choose your tackle, read the conditions, find the fish, and make every cast count.
Fishing here is more than casting and waiting. Your rod, reel, line, hook, float, bait, and other tackle all matter. Set up your gear for the water and species you’re after, then manage the fight when the line goes tight. Watch the tension, work the drag, tire the fish, and get it into the landing net before the hook comes free or the line gives way.
FISH THAT DON’T ALL FIGHT THE SAME
Different species have their own behavior, preferred food, size and weight ranges, and trophy potential. Where you fish, what you use, and when you cast can change what ends up on the hook.
A small fish may come in easily. A trophy can turn the whole fight around.
BUILD THE RIGHT TACKLE
Put together your setup from rods, reels, lines, hooks, floats, bait, lures, groundbait, landing nets, and other fishing gear. Equipment has its own characteristics, so there is no single setup for every water and every fish.
FISH THE CONDITIONS
The water doesn’t stay the same. Time of day, seasons, wind, atmospheric pressure, temperature, clouds, and changing weather affect the conditions around you.
