Golf Range Sim
Golf practice as real rounds
Free · In‑App Purchases
NEW: all 72 holes redrawn. Plus Club Slot - spin for three or four clubs and play the round with only those; any distance you lack, you improvise with a shorter swing.
■ Every range ball becomes a shot on the course
Hit a ball at the driving range, enter what it did, and the ball flies exactly that way on a virtual golf course. Distance, left/right miss, trajectory height — that is all you enter. The course does the rest.
"Where would that one have finished on a real hole?"
Now you know, on every ball. Bucket practice becomes a round of golf.
■ Simple to enter
- Distance: set it with a slider
- Left/right: enter the start direction and the curve separately
- Trajectory: low, normal or high
You can also switch to a simple mode and pick "right, small" by feel. Yards or metres, your choice.
■ Four courses
- Sunrise Country Club (Par 72, 6,392 yards)
Tree-lined parkland. Start here.
- Riverside Golf Club (Par 60, short course)
Ponds and a river. A quick round when time is short.
- Alpen Ridge Country Club (Par 70, hard)
Mountain golf. Big elevation changes, ravine and water carries.
- Ocean Cliff Links (Par 72, hardest)
Seaside links. The ocean is in play on every hole, and on some it runs down both sides.
72 holes in total, each with back, regular and forward tees.
■ Reading the hole
- See the hole in 3D from behind the ball as you choose your line
- A course map shows the layout, out of bounds and 100/150/200 yard markers
- An orange pole marks your carry, adjusted for wind, slope and your current lie
- On uphill and downhill holes a "plays like" distance shows what you actually need
- Green view shows the slopes and the exact distance to the pin
■ No putting
Once you reach the green, the number of putts is decided from the distance to the pin. You can tune the one-putt distance in Settings to match your own game.
■ Records and analysis
Every round is saved automatically.
- Average score, best score, greens in regulation
- Handicap, calculated from your last 20 rounds
- Measured club distances, with a prompt to update your settings when they drift
- Directional tendency per club — whether you miss right or left
- Score trend over time
Analysis is generated on your device. Your records are never sent anywhere.
Scorecards can be exported as an image, free of charge.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
■ The courses have been rebuilt
All four courses — 72 holes — have been redrawn from scratch: the turf, the way
the trees fill out, the reflections on the water, the mountains on the horizon.
The view from the tee should look different on every hole.
■ New way to play: Club Slot
Spin the slot and play the round with only the three or four clubs it gives you.
Any distance you do not have, you make with a shorter swing or lay up.
The draw always includes one long club and one short one, so you will never end
up with three wedges and a 420-yard par 4.
- Clubs in play: three (big gaps between them) or four
- Redraw every: 1 hole, 3 holes, 9 holes, or never
Rounds are kept in your history, but a round played with three or four clubs is
not counted towards your average score or handicap.
■ The analysis tab has been reworked
- Your handicap now appears from nine-hole rounds too, normalised to 18 holes.
(Numbers do not change if you only ever play 18.)
- "Miss tendency" and "Club distance learning" are now listed in club order.
They used to be sorted by number of shots, which put PW right after the driver.
- "Club distance learning" now ignores chips and lay-ups. A shot you deliberately
hit shorter than the club's setting says nothing about how far that club goes.
Wedge suggestions used to come out far too short because of this.
- Fixed stray markup appearing in the detailed analysis comment.
■ Ball flight adjustments
- Normal trajectory was too low. Raised.
- Balls that land in water now make a splash.
- Playing from the trees cost too much distance. Eased.
- Elevation changed the distance too much. Reduced by about 20%, so downhill
holes no longer send the ball miles past the target.
■ Paid courses are now downloaded on demand
The app ships with the two free courses (Sunrise and Riverside). Paid courses are
downloaded when you select them, and stay on the device afterwards — you only
download each one once.
If you already own the paid courses, expect a one-off download the next time you
pick one.
