Blocking a lot of senders at once no longer freezes the app. A big batch goes through in one go, and BINIT always says what happened — including when nobody could be blocked, and why. Messages that need a whole sentence now get the whole screen to say it in, instead of a narrow column down the middle. Buttons with short labels used to need a second tap. Not any more: every control has room around it for a finger.

A walk-through the first time you open BINIT, explaining every screen and every switch — and a button on the Mailbox screen to watch it again whenever you like. Win back space: the 50 heaviest messages in your mailbox, and everything older than two years, worked out and shown to you before anything moves. Mail you replied to or flagged, senders you keep, and receipts are left alone. Two standing rules you can turn on: file receipts into a Receipts folder, and archive inbox mail older than a year. Both run at the end of every read, and neither one deletes anything. A home-screen widget showing what your mailbox looks like right now, plus shortcuts for reading it and clearing the junk. Keep a whole batch of senders in one go instead of one at a time. Nine new screens: who holds your address, who has been broken into, what you are subscribed to, deletion requests, aliases, why something was called a scam, and two-step sign-in. BINIT now reads in thirty-four languages. Fixes: working out what to move no longer signs in to your mail server, so it is instant and cannot be refused; and the walk-through now lands on the right part of the screen every time.

Blocked senders now stay blocked when they change address. Spam moves to a new domain constantly — when a sender you blocked turns up under a new one, BINIT recognises it and turns that away too. At Outlook and Hotmail, blocking now happens on the mail server itself. Blocked senders are stopped before they ever reach your phone, whether BINIT is open or not. While BINIT is open it listens for mail as it lands, rather than waiting for the next scan. Blocked senders and scams are cleared within seconds of arriving. Clear-outs in the background happen far more often. Alongside the full read, there is now a quick sweep that clears blocked senders whenever iOS spares a moment. BINIT can now empty your Junk folder as well, not only mail from senders you blocked. It stays off until you turn it on, under the Mailbox tab. Summaries are easier to read. Everything BINIT did gets its own line, instead of one long paragraph.

Every mailbox you have added now shows on one screen, so there is nothing to switch between. Unsubscribing finishes on its own. BINIT sends the unsubscribe email and follows the sender's link where there is one, instead of handing you a web page and leaving you to it. Blocks now stand on the mail server itself for Outlook and Hotmail, as rules the mailbox enforces, so they keep working while your phone is asleep. Mail you have flagged has its own screen. Scans are much faster. BINIT reads what has arrived since last time instead of the whole mailbox again. Obvious scams are cleared out of Junk without being asked, and there is an opt-in background sweep that keeps watch while you are away. Fixed: choosing to keep a sender could freeze the app. Fixed: walking away while BINIT was reading used to throw away the reading it had done. It now finishes the folder it is on.
