Pathfill is a number-path duel you can play head-to-head, solo, as a 48-stage climb, or as a shared Daily puzzle. Draw one continuous line that starts on 1, reaches every numbered clue in order, and fills every cell of the grid exactly once. Move up, down, left or right — never diagonally. One board, one unique solution. Race a friend — free, and never ad-taxed: • Send a link, show a QR, or read out a 5-character code. • You both race the same grid; the first valid complete path wins. • Host Classic or Mystery, Open or Lined. Joining is always free — whatever size your friend hosts — and a rematch is one tap, never gated behind an ad. Play your way — all free: • Solo — unlimited grids in every size (5×5, 6×6, 8×8, 10×10), Open or Lined, Classic or Mystery Zip, at your own pace. • Ascent — how far can you go? Forty-eight boards across four acts — First trail, The bend, Long ink, High trail. Classic or Mystery Zip, Open or Lined: four ways through the same forty-eight boards. Each stage unlocks the next, finished stages stay replayable, and moving on is never ad-taxed. • Daily path — everyone gets the same 6×6 Classic board; keep your streak. Every third day it is Lined. Lines — the new way a board bites back. A thick ink bar can sit on the edge between two cells and block that step. No lives, no penalty: the move is simply refused and your path is untouched. Pick Open or Lined in Solo, Ascent, and Challenge a friend. Two ways to read the clues. Classic shows every number. Mystery hides some as ? — same single solution, more deduction. Stuck? Show a step marks the next three cells of the one solution. It is optional help, never a gate — nothing is ever locked behind it, and it never reveals a hidden Mystery number. Calm and fair. No account, no sign-in. Your rival's board is never shown mid-race — only shared progress (percent of cells filled). Ads are non-personalized by default and appear when you return to Home — never mid-path, never on a rematch, never on the next Ascent stage. Stats and streaks stay on your device. One optional extra. Remove ads — that is the only purchase. No board size costs money: Solo and Ascent use all four (5×5, 6×6, 8×8, 10×10), you can host a race at any of them, and joining a friend's invite is always free.
