- The Assistant comes to the Mac App Store version, included with every Managed plan and its free trial. Ask in plain words to rename files with one of your Presets, set up a Rule, or find a file. It works only in folders you have chosen, and you approve every change. - Smaller fixes and improvements.

- Quick Rename opens as one sheet over the window, the same for Smart Rename and every Preset. Files that need you come first, and you finish one by clicking its name, typing and pressing Enter. Closing the sheet doesn't stop the run. - Smart Rename separates the words of a name with spaces. On a person's own records, such as a bank statement, contract or payslip, the name ends with that person's name. Invoices, receipts and tickets stay as they were. - When a scan of a watched folder finds new files that arrived while NameQuick wasn't watching, one notice says how many there are, and you can rename them or leave them. Settings → Folders has "Files found in a scan" with "Ask first" or "Rename them". - A scanner that reuses a file name, such as "Scan_#001.pdf", now has every new scan renamed. - After you press Stop, no more files are renamed, and a file you edit while it's being named stays as it is. - When there's no answer for a part of a name, that part stays empty. Words like "null" or "N/A" no longer end up in a file name. - Smaller fixes: long Rule names wrap instead of being cut off, a long folder path breaks only after a slash, and picking another Preset in Quick Rename names the files again right away.

• Review now lives in All Files and sorts what's waiting into decisions, such as names to approve or files that need a value from you. Each decision has one clear action, like Apply all, Try again or Keep originals, and a failed suggestion says why. • Runs are easier to follow. While a run is going, its card shows one list of files with problems first. When a run stops, it says why and offers to name the files it didn't reach. • A file that's open in another app has its own row in the run. It tells you which app to close and when NameQuick tries again. • Starting to watch a folder that already has files asks whether to rename them too, instead of renaming them without asking. • Names made with a Preset follow its example more closely. A file that's missing a value under a Preset can be finished by typing its name. • Reading is more reliable. Scanned PDF pages are read at full resolution, and amounts with a minus after them, as on till receipts, are read as refunds. • Fix name answers sooner and keeps its newest good answer above the box you type in. • The welcome screen shows its title and Get started from the first moment. • Smaller fixes throughout, including a crash when opening a decision from "more" in All Files.
