Six widget sizes. In addition to small, medium and large on the Home Screen, Kotoba now fits on the Lock Screen (inline, rectangular and circular). Pro gains “A new one each day”: one of your phrases, changing at midnight, narrowed by tag if you like. Long-press the widget → Edit Widget → set Display to “A new one each day”. You can now export your phrases as text (menu → Export phrases).

On a dark screen, the title and the search field could sink into the background. • Added anonymous usage reporting to help improve the app (the app was opened, a widget was displayed). Never the phrases you save, and never your name, email, advertising ID, or location. You can turn it off under Privacy in the menu. ■ Fixed a bug where Pro could switch itself off after you had paid When the purchase could not be read (no network, signed out of the App Store, just after a restore), the app treated it as “not purchased”. It now stays on until Apple actually reports that the entitlement is gone.

Added Kotoba Pro, a one-time purchase. The free version still lets you keep 20 words and place one widget. Pro removes the limit on words and lets you place as many widgets as you like. Nothing you have already saved is ever removed.
