Spooky Nights – and games with friends now work entirely without the internet. Spooky Nights • From September 15 to November 2, Nightlight transforms all by itself: hand-painted Halloween cards, a pumpkin night theme with fog and bats, and a mystical melody. • Costumes for all ten ghosts. • New card, the Pumpkin Curse: use it and you alone see a ghost's entire hand. Leave it in your own row until scoring and it costs you 20 points. • Action cards can now be placed in your own row as well. • Collect pumpkin candies: one for every Halloween game, three for a win. • A new Game Center achievement and separate Halloween stats. Offline with Friends • Two to four people play together on their own devices, with no internet at all. • Nearby iPhones find each other directly, even without a router. Plus smaller improvements and bug fixes. Still no ads, no in-app purchases, no tracking.

New in this update: • Witching hour: play between midnight and 1 a.m. and the night turns to special moonlight – while the mischievous ghost “Chaos” suddenly swaps a few cards. • Game Center: lots of new achievements and leaderboards. • Reworked menu: solo and online modes clearly separated, settings and help reachable on every screen. • Minor improvements and bug fixes.

New online extras: fill an online game with clever bots, find open rooms with the new game search, and switch between online and offline without losing your seat. You now see right away when someone leaves. Plus: joining works reliably even when two players pick the same ghost.
