SoundStems splits a song into its parts. Load a track and it separates into vocals, drums, bass and music, each one its own channel you can turn up, turn down, mute or solo.
It all happens on your iPhone. The separation model runs on the device itself, so nothing is uploaded, there is no server, there is no account, and it works with no signal at all.
WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH THE PARTS
Mute the vocals and you have a backing track. Solo the drums and you have something to play along to. Push the bass up and the music down and you can hear what the low end is actually doing. Every part has its own fader.
CHANGE THE KEY OR THE SPEED, NOT BOTH
Shift the pitch in semitones with the clock untouched, or change the speed with the key untouched. They are separate controls because they are separate problems.
PLACE EACH PART AROUND YOU
Every stem has a 3D position. Move the vocal in front of you and the drums off to one side and listen to the song from inside it.
