See your weight forecast at a glance — the new home-screen widget shows your trend and next milestone. And distant goals now get more accurate dates. The hardest part of managing your weight is not knowing when it ends. WeighCast reads your weigh-ins from Apple Health, follows the trend underneath the daily noise, and estimates when you'll reach the target you set — as a range of dates. WHAT IT DOES • Reads your weight history from Apple Health, or lets you add weigh-ins by hand • Fits a trend that ignores the day-to-day swings of water, food and salt • Forecasts when you'll reach your target — always a range, because a single date would be pretending • Marks the milestones along the way • Shows how your rate has changed month by month • Notices when your trend genuinely changes course, and offers to forecast from there • Optionally shows where the healthy BMI range sits for your height • Exports a clean PDF summary Whether you're losing, maintaining or gaining, WeighCast treats your goal the same way: calmly. Gaining is supported deliberately — for people recovering from illness, restoring weight, or gaining on medical advice. WHAT IT WON'T DO No streaks. No badges. No red numbers. No "you could get there faster". Your weight swings day to day — that's water, not failure — so WeighCast never scores you against yesterday, only shows you the trend. A flat week is shown as a flat week, not a defeat. It won't accept a target below the healthy weight range for your height. And it isn't medical advice — if you have a health condition, talk to your doctor before changing how you eat. HONEST ABOUT UNCERTAINTY Your forecast will move as new weigh-ins arrive — sometimes by weeks. That's the estimate improving, not you failing. WeighCast needs about three weeks of weigh-ins before it can show a date at all, and it says so plainly rather than guessing. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Everything happens on your phone. No accounts, no servers, no analytics, no tracking. The only things ever written to Apple Health are weigh-ins and a height you typed yourself. Free to use, with no adverts — there never will be. WeighCast works best with a smart scale that syncs to Apple Health — the more often you weigh in, the sooner you see a date — but manual entry works fine too.

- Your forecast no longer over-promises on distant goals. It used to assume your current rate of change would hold all the way; it now allows for progress slowing as your weight changes, so far-off dates may move later — that later date is the more truthful one. Goals close to your trend barely change. - Added home-screen widgets: your arrival range, trend weight and next milestone, in a small and a medium size. - Added Whats New - After an update, WeighCast shows a short summary of what changed — once, with the history kept under Settings › About › What's new. - The Trend and Forecast charts now remember your chosen time range. - Clearer wording in a few places, including the PDF export of your data. - Squashed some bugs.
