Printer setup now points at the right switch. You need "LAN Only Liveview" turned on — not LAN Only Mode, which disconnects Bambu Handy and was never required. A tidier printer view: the print-status badge is sized like a status badge rather than a headline, and the "Home Network" line is gone. Every connection is a home-network one now, so it had nothing left to tell you.

No Bambu Lab account. AmbientCast now finds your printer on your own network and talks to it directly — enter the access code from the printer's screen once and you're done. No email, no password, and nothing goes through Bambu's servers. Bambu Handy keeps working exactly as it does now. You do not need to turn on the printer's LAN Only Mode. Status is better for it. The printer's own broker sends a complete report every couple of seconds where the cloud sent partial updates, so filament, temperatures and AMS details are more reliable than before. Also in this release: - Setup is illustrated, and shows you exactly which row on the printer holds the access code - Access codes typed by voice now work — capitals and spaces are handled - Fixes for printers losing their address when syncing between devices

Settings and the setup screens open properly again on Apple TV. On the newest tvOS they could appear as a thin sliver over the screen, which left Settings, the printer switcher, and setting up a printer without a Bambu Lab account effectively unusable. Everything opens full screen again. The filament swatches on the video overlay now get a row of their own, matching the dashboard. They had been sharing a line with the print status, so spools were quietly left out whenever there wasn't room for all of them.

Picture in Picture and other video apps now get along. AmbientCast used to interrupt whatever else was playing, which could leave a video in another app stalled until AmbientCast was closed. It doesn't any more, and the printer window keeps running alongside. Switching between printers while watching in Picture in Picture is fixed. The window used to freeze within a minute or two of changing cameras; now it keeps going. Picture in Picture also comes back faster after you switch. Where the button could sit unavailable for a couple of minutes, it's usually ready in seconds. Times are easier to read. A print with 349 minutes left now says "5h 49m" — on the dashboard, in the video overlay, on the Apple TV home screen, and everywhere else it appears. Also in this release: - A broadcast that only runs for a few seconds now keeps a picture of your print as its thumbnail - The AMS alert banner matches the app's other banners

Picture in Picture is steadier, and the button no longer disappears while it gets ready — if it isn't available yet it now shows as pending instead of vanishing, so you can tell "a moment away" from "not here". Picture in Picture also survives changing networks. Leaving the house with the app running used to leave it stuck; it now reconnects on its own. Your filament is easier to read. Each AMS unit gets its own row on iPhone, and the swatches line up in columns instead of shifting whenever the loaded spool changes. On Apple TV, the print status and the AMS row now line up with each other, and the percentage is sized to match the text beside it. Also in this release: - If a logo is set, Settings now says it takes priority over the watermark text - When no printers are found on the network, the app explains why instead of showing an empty space

iPhone landscape is now a real design. Turn your phone sideways and the video fills the height, with progress, temperatures and filament in a rail beside it -- instead of the layout built for a TV. Your devices now agree with each other. Printers and cameras you set up on one device appear on the others, so a camera added on your iPhone shows up on your Apple TV without typing it all again on a remote. Access codes and passwords stay on the device that entered them unless you choose to sync those too, in which case they travel through iCloud Keychain, which is end-to-end encrypted. Pinch to zoom the video on iPhone and iPad. The camera has more detail than a phone-sized picture shows, so pinch in and drag around; double-tap to fit. Timelapses on Apple TV. The device that records your timelapses can finally show them, with a code to scan if you want to watch one on your phone. Also in this release: - Tap the filament row to see material and how much is left in each slot - The AMS row shows humidity, temperature and drying status - Start and stop a YouTube broadcast from landscape, not just portrait - A printer set up on another device now says it needs its access code, instead of waiting forever

A clearer picture of what your printer is doing, especially on multi-nozzle machines. • Each nozzle now shows a dot in the colour of the filament feeding it, so on a two-nozzle printer you can tell at a glance which spool is going where. • The filament row shows the spools this print is actually using, rather than the first few in slot order — and every loaded spool is shown, across all your AMS units. • Tap a unit to see what is in it: material and remaining percentage for each spool, with low spools called out. • A new "Print Details on Video" setting (Settings → Display). Turn it off and job status, progress and filament colours stay off the picture, so Picture in Picture, a YouTube broadcast and published timelapses all show clean video. Your watermark is unaffected. • The status line no longer runs out of room and cut off the temperature. • Video recovers in about a second when your device wakes, instead of about thirty. • The stream uses your camera's own resolution instead of assuming 1920x1080. • Timelapse Shorts are published with a thumbnail, and a finished print gets a moment on screen before the timelapse ends. • Switching camera mid-print no longer discards the timelapse recorded so far, and the source picker no longer shows the wrong device as selected. • On iPhone, the status card no longer runs off the edge of the screen, and the filament row scrolls instead of pushing everything out of view.

Two-nozzle printers, clearer filament, and a lot of reliability work. • Filament swatches are grouped by AMS unit and labelled the way the printer labels them — A and B — so you can tell at a glance which unit a colour is in. • On a two-nozzle printer, the filament actually printing is now marked. Before, nothing was. • Both nozzle temperatures are shown, rather than only the first. • Filament colours now appear on printers reporting more than one AMS unit, where the row could previously go blank. • The stream uses your camera's own resolution instead of assuming 1920x1080. • Status now comes from your printer directly whenever it's reachable on your network, and from Bambu Lab's cloud when it isn't. Your printer reports far more detail over your own network. The old "Cloud Status + LAN Video" mode is now called "Automatic". • A print that starts while your device is asleep asks before broadcasting, instead of going live unasked. • A timelapse on a long print now says up front that it will stop if your device sleeps, and gives the estimate — instead of reporting the loss once the print is over. • Switching camera mid-print no longer discards the timelapse recorded so far. • Video recovers in about a second when your device wakes, instead of about thirty. • A printer renamed in the Bambu Lab app now shows its new name here. • The status panel is easier to read over a bright print. • Your published timelapses now sync across your iPhone and iPad. • Fixed a crash on first launch, and another when skipping the printer address during setup.

Fixes and polish throughout setup and the timelapse. • Sign in to Bambu Lab from Settings → Devices. If you started with the demo printer or a LAN-only printer, there was previously no way to add your account short of reinstalling. • Setup no longer asks for your printer's access code when your Bambu Lab account has already supplied it, and fills in the printer's address from your network. • Fixed a message that claimed the app couldn't reach Bambu Lab when you simply weren't signed in. • The on-screen number pad no longer covers the verification code field when signing in. • Sign-in and setup fields are clearer to see and easier to tap. • A timelapse interrupted partway through a print is rejoined instead of lost. • A timelapse that only caught the last moments of a print is no longer published as that print's timelapse.

• If your printer rejects its access code, AmbientCast now tells you so plainly and checks your Bambu account for an updated one, instead of retrying quietly forever. • The status overlay takes up noticeably less of the screen on iPhone, leaving more room for the camera view. • Smoother video in Picture in Picture. • A timelapse interrupted part-way through a print is no longer lost.
