If your work sends the same vehicle to the same address over and over, the route becomes a pattern. Anyone watching long enough learns it. Take A Different Route breaks that pattern for you, every single trip, without costing you the day.
Put in the address you keep driving to. Every time you head there, the app works out a real drive that avoids the roads your recent trips actually used, keeps the time close to the fastest way, and hands you turn-by-turn directions. Arrive, and it remembers. The next trip is planned around the one you just made.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Anyone carrying something worth taking. Cash runs to the bank. Pharmacy and medical couriers. Jewellery, electronics, tools and parts. Payroll, deposits and day sheets. Contractors hauling equipment to the same site all week. Drivers restocking their own stores. Private security and executive transport. If you have ever thought "I always go the same way, and people know it," this was built for you.
It is just as useful when nobody is watching. Same-address runs get stale, and the fastest route on paper is not always the one that is moving. Varying the drive spreads you across the network instead of down one corridor.

- A coverage map shows exactly where you have already been driving, so you can see for yourself that you are not repeating

WHAT LEAVES YOUR PHONE: NOTHING
This is the part worth reading twice. There are no accounts and no sign-up. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifier, and no server belonging to us. The developer receives nothing at all: not your addresses, not your routes, not your location, not a usage statistic. There is no code in this app that could send it, because we never built any.
Your destinations and your drive history live on your device and in your own iCloud account, under your own Apple ID, so a new phone or a reinstall brings them back. That is your iCloud, not ours. We cannot see inside it.
The app asks Apple's maps service for directions, exactly the way Apple Maps does. That is the only thing that ever goes out, it goes to Apple and not to us, and it is what makes the routing work.
