Lumimi Record records your screen, system audio and microphone together, then transcribes the recording right on your Mac. When you need more, turn the transcript into key points and action items, or translate it into the language you need.
Made for meetings, tutorials, gameplay and online courses. Built natively with Apple's ScreenCaptureKit, with no kernel extension or virtual audio device required.
■ Transcribed on your Mac
WhisperKit (CoreML) creates the transcript without uploading your audio. The microphone and system audio are recognised separately, making it easier to tell your words from the other side of the conversation.
■ AI summaries, cleanup and translation (optional)
Turn the transcript into readable paragraphs, extract key points, decisions and action items, or translate it into another language. Lumimi Record can also infer individual speakers from the conversation, and lets you correct a name everywhere at once.
This optional feature uses your own API key (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or Grok). Only transcript text is sent to the provider you choose; your video and audio files stay on your Mac. Recording and transcription work without an API key.
■ Screen and both sides of the conversation on separate tracks
Your screen, system audio and microphone are kept precisely in sync, then combined into one meeting.mp4 when recording ends. Keep the original audio tracks when you want to adjust levels, reduce noise or edit each side separately in another editor.
■ Reduce microphone echo
When you use speakers, the other side's voice can leak into your microphone and sound doubled. Lumimi Record reduces that echo in real time, helping you capture clearer microphone audio without requiring headphones.
■ Add your camera as you record
Place your camera over the screen and adjust its position, size, shape and opacity. It is composited in real time, so there is no need to add it afterwards.
■ One recording, one folder
Each recording is organised into its own folder. By default, Lumimi Record keeps only the finished file and transcript.json. Original tracks can be kept whenever you need them.
■ Safeguards for your recording
Lumimi Record monitors free disk space and attempts to stop safely before storage runs out. If you close the window while recording, it saves what has been captured before exiting.
