The idea behind yodaka is simple: turn your daily scrolling into an encounter with a great book. DISCOVER A feed of opening passages. Features on authors on the anniversaries of their deaths. Curated reading lists, published regularly. Even if you don't know where to start, you will find something. LAYOUT & TYPE Three ways to read, in vertical or horizontal writing. - Passage: one passage per screen. Swipe for the next. Read slowly, one sentence at a time. - Page: turn one page at a time. On iPad, a two-page spread. - Scroll: move freely through the text. MARKERS, NOTES, DICTIONARY Highlight what you want to keep. Write down what you think. Your highlights and notes collect on your shelf, ready to read back later. The dictionary is a tap away, which helps with the older works. English works are supported too, so the app works for language study. If you use the Dictionaries app by Monokakido, yodaka can hand off to it. READABILITY Text size, line height and letter spacing are all adjustable, so you can tune the page until it reads easily for you. The reading ruler helps if you lose your place or your eyes slide off the line. YODAKA PREMIUM Every work is free to read. Premium adds iCloud sync, the reading record, widgets, 12 themes, 10 fonts, 12 highlight colors and 8 app icons. Fixed a bug where a page could start with a blank line when page breaks were set to punctuation. Favorites, highlights and notes for the work you are reading can now be opened from the reader.
