New on first use: sign in, link your roster and turn on notifications in three clear steps, followed by a short tour of the app. You can rewatch the tour from your profile. Also: if you link your roster via a link, the pickup time and drinks cut-off now show on the nightstop card, plus a few small improvements.

Notifications: on first use the app now asks straight away whether you want notifications, and in your profile you can switch chat and transport notifications on or off separately. The Chat button on the nightstop card now always opens the chat of the sector you arrived with.

New: Trips & tours. A dedicated place for whale watching, bike tours, wine tastings and day trips, with how to get there, cost and booking link. Find them under the More button. Also: opening hours are now fully readable on the place page, and tapping the transport notification opens the right transport info straight away.

• The EUR | ICA toggle is now always visible on the home screen; your profile choice only sets which region it opens with. • A nightstop followed by a trip home and a new nightstop in the same city now shows as two trips. • Registration: after pasting your roster link you go straight on to the next step. • CrossFit boxes near the crew hotel for all destinations, with drop-in prices and how to book.

• Link your roster directly: paste the calendar link from your roster tool (also on iPhone), no calendar subscription needed. • Fly both Europe and intercontinental? Tick both regions in your profile. • The Chat button on the nightstop card now also works for overnight flights and multi-night stops. • Hotel gyms: photos, opening hours and equipment for all destinations; golf courses with booking info.

• Simpler filters on the destination page: four buttons — Favourites, Food, Drinks and More. One tap turns a filter on or off; More holds the other categories and refinements. • Anything switched on via More shows as a chip you can dismiss.

• Dark mode. The app now follows your phone's appearance setting; pick Light or Dark yourself under Profile. • Dark map style at night. • On the day you fly home, the transport card now says "To the airport". • Phone numbers in station routes are tappable — call straight from the app. • Smoother scrolling on the profile page.
