Honestly: a brighter screen uses more power and runs warmer. HDR video looks flatter while it's on. Turn it off for movies or colour-critical work. REQUIREMENTS Works on the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with Liquid Retina XDR, and Pro Display XDR.
