A new welcome for Dhikr. • Try the tasbih the moment you open the app, before any setup. • Set up voice counting, reminders and your look one simple question at a time. • The Arabic voice model downloads in the background while you continue. • Dhikr only asks for your location if you choose prayer-time reminders. • A clearer Support Dhikr page, easier to read at every text size. • Fixes and polish.

You can now support the Dhikr team with Dhikr Supporter, monthly or lifetime. Bug fixes and UI improvements.

Dhikr 2.0 is a new design, built around the beads of a tasbih. • A new home: your phrases hang on a single strand. Swipe to choose one, and its meaning opens beneath it. • Recite aloud and Dhikr counts for you, entirely on your iPhone. A live waveform shows it hearing you, and you can tap anywhere on the screen to count by hand. • Voice now sets itself up inside the app. The Arabic speech model downloads with a progress bar, with no trip to Settings. • Chapters: after prayer, praise and blessings, forgiveness, relief and protection, and supplication. • Pick up where you left off with "Continue your last moment". • Prayer times along the arc of your day, and a Qibla compass. • Your moments: a quiet history of your remembrance, synced only through your own iCloud. • Choose which way the beads travel, and pick from three app icons. Also fixed: phrases that appeared more than once after syncing between devices are now merged automatically.

Voice counting now sets itself up inside Dhikr. The Arabic voice files download in the app, with a progress bar, instead of sending you into iPhone's keyboard settings to find them. A new welcome. The introduction is now a rendered scene — a misbaha hanging by a window at dusk. Counting fixes. Taps made during a voice session are no longer overwritten by the next recitation, repeating a finished session starts cleanly from zero, and if voice drops out and recovers, the count you already had is kept. Dhikr is also about half the size it was.
