This update improves print cancellation and recovery. - Printer warnings and informational status reports no longer automatically cancel print jobs. - Interrupted jobs retain their queue receipts so recovery can check the existing job before submitting more work. - Guided printing checks the paper needed for the current pass and advances after completion is confirmed. - Saved runs restore and verify the original document. Reprinting uses the selected source pages and copies. - When the printer cannot confirm a job's outcome, PrintPilot asks you to review the output instead of reporting success.

No functional changes in this release — an updated App Store description to better explain what PrintPilot does for notaries and loan signing agents.

A fast follow-up to 1.3.3, entirely about printing reliability. CANCELLING A WALKTHROUGH IS TREATED AS A CANCEL Cancelling mid-walkthrough was recorded as a failure, so the report could claim pages that printed never came out, reprints were refused for half an hour because the run looked like it was still going, and the recovery sheet kept coming back. A cancel now records exactly how far the paper got, cleans up after itself, and says so once — quietly. A JOB THAT NEVER STARTS IS REPORTED IN 90 SECONDS If the printer never begins the job — unreachable, or a stale queue pointing at a printer that is no longer answering — PrintPilot stops and names the reason, instead of showing "Printing" while nothing moves. PRINTERS THAT CANNOT TAKE A DOCUMENT FORMAT ARE HANDLED HONESTLY The format negotiation no longer speculates unless the printer can provably verify a guess without printing it. When it cannot, the job takes the system path, which converts the document properly. DIAGNOSTICS Printing decisions are now logged to a small bounded file, so a support report can carry exactly what happened. Also: interrupted-walkthrough recovery no longer leaves working copies of your documents behind, and cancelling no longer shows your own cancel as an error.

The preview zooms, and it can have the whole window. A − fit + cluster on the preview, ⌘+ / ⌘− / ⌘0 / ⌘1, and trackpad pinch all step one 25%–400% ladder. Focus mode collapses the page table to a slim filmstrip and gives the preview everything else — every frame keeps its Letter or Legal chip, so which paper a page routes to never leaves the screen. A WALKTHROUGH INTERRUPTED BETWEEN PASSES CAN NOW BE FINISHED If PrintPilot is closed or killed while the paper-swap prompt is open, the next launch offers to print the pages that never came out. It names them and waits — it never resumes on its own, because a run that died during the second pass looks identical in the record to one that died before it, and only the person standing at the printer can tell the difference. (Different from reprinting a range, which 1.3.2 added: this recovers a run the app never got to finish.) THE PAGE CHAIN SHOWS PRINT ORDER Pages are listed in the order they will come out of the printer, not the order they sit in the document. On a guided run those differ, and the strip sits beside the swap prompt — it should answer "what comes out now, and what comes out after I swap". THE PRINTER BAR READS THE SAME SENTENCE EVERYWHERE Here, on iPhone, on iPad and on Windows. It matched before by coincidence; it matches now by construction. ALSO PrintPilot negotiates the document format with the printer instead of always declaring PDF, and proves a guessed format with a held job before anything prints. macOS takes PDF natively, so nothing changes on your Mac — the rule is shared with the phone, where it does change things.

Single-tray printing, fixed properly. • On a one-tray printer, PrintPilot prints your Letter pages first, tells you when to swap in Legal, then prints the rest — with a marker sheet showing exactly where the Legal pages go. • Those marker sheets are actually printed now. They used to be described in the on-screen guide but never came out of the printer. • A marker sheet names the right pages. It could previously tell you a run would become pages 5-6 of your stack when it was really pages 3-4. • PrintPilot no longer refuses to start because the second paper size isn't loaded yet — on a single-tray printer it never can be. Each pass is checked as it begins, so the paper swap is confirmed rather than assumed. • Your printer's tray count is read the same way everywhere, so a one-drawer printer is recognised as one drawer. • If a run stops partway, the reprint offer starts from where the paper actually stopped.

Reliability release. • Every print now runs through one code path, so a fix reaches every kind of job instead of only the one it was written for. • PrintPilot tells the printer the exact paper size for every job, on every path. • "Done" now means the pages came out — not just that the printer accepted the file. • Cancel reaches the printer and stops jobs already queued. • Rotated scans no longer print sideways, and pages are checked against your printer's real margins before they are sent. • If a print ends badly, PrintPilot says which pages are unaccounted for and offers to reprint.

Scan is here. Capture paper with your iPhone over Continuity Camera, or with a flatbed or sheet-feed scanner over USB or Wi-Fi — PrintPilot drives the scanner directly, so there's no trip to the manufacturer's utility. Scanned pages come back at true paper size, so a stack of mixed Letter and Legal originals goes straight into a tray-routed print job. Driver's licences land at true card size with front and back on one sheet, and searchable text is recognised on-device.
