Weather read against your plans, your allergies, your dog's walk, and whether to open the window tonight. Severe weather warnings are free on every plan.
The Heavens reads the weather against your day: your plans, your body, your pets and your home, in plain words.
YOUR DAY
• Your Day: your first plan of the day with the weather at its hour. Pro checks all your plans, and when rain will reach an outdoor one, it names the nearest indoor places.
• Pro: the best hour to get outside for a walk, a run, a ride or a hike, where available.
• Tonight: whether to open a window, from the overnight air and the bedroom temperature you like.
• Pro: weather along your route, mile by mile, timed to when you will be there.
YOUR HEALTH
• Sun: your sun budget for the day, for your skin type.
• Heat: how the heat should change your pace outdoors.
• Allergies: pollen and what is blooming near you, where they're measured. Pro tells you when your pollen is up, even with the app closed.
• Air quality: the reading, what is driving it, and the day's peak.
• Mosquitoes: tonight's odds and local health reports, where published.
• On iPhone, log how you feel in Apple Health and see whether it lines up with changes in air pressure.

• Walk windows built on your dog's breed and how it handles heat.
• Frost advice from what your plants can take.
• Your commute, read against the weather at the hour you leave.
SAFETY, FREE ON EVERY PLAN
• Severe weather warnings are never behind a paywall.
• In the U.S., tornado, flash flood, tsunami, snow squall and extreme wind warnings can sound even on silent, if you allow it.
• Where the app cannot receive official warnings, it says so instead of showing an all-clear.
• Lightning alerts when a strike is close to you, where available, if you turn them on.
• Ask Air how close the nearest lightning is, free.
• Apple Watch checks U.S. warnings on its own when your iPhone is out of reach.
THE HEAVENS BROADCAST
A short spoken broadcast for your area, over the live radar. Everyone gets a new one each day; Pro and Ultra make new ones through the day. Pro and Ultra also end each one with a short part for you: your plans, your dog or plants, and your allergies.
ASK AIR, YOUR AI METEOROLOGIST
Ask in plain words. Air looks up live conditions, forecasts and warnings before it answers. One conversation a day for everyone; Pro gives you more, and Air remembers what you tell it.
RADAR AND STORMS
• Live radar on a loop, in the U.S., Canada and much of the world.
• Tropical storms worldwide, with official forecast tracks.
• Pro: lightning distance, count and trend, and U.S. severe outlooks with tornado and hail risk.
• Ultra: a live 3D view inside the storm over the contiguous U.S.
WEATHER WHERE YOU AREN'T (ULTRA)
Ultra watches up to 10 of your saved places with the app closed and alerts you when severe weather reaches one. It also follows your flight live.
EVERY SCREEN
iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Vision Pro, each built for its own screen. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and with Pro, a widget for any of your places.
PRIVACY
No ads, no tracking. Your Apple Health records stay on your device; if you turn on health context, a short summary written on the device goes with your forecast request. Usage data is anonymous, with no identifier and no location, and you can turn it off in Settings.
PLANS
The Free plan costs nothing, and official warnings are on every plan. Pro and Ultra are monthly or annual subscriptions, charged to your Apple Account. They renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage them in your Apple Account settings.

• Lightning alerts: a free heads-up when a strike is close to you, where available. Turn them on in Settings; they use your location in the background. Informational only, not an emergency service.
• With Pro, a heads-up when rain is about to start where you are, in the U.S.
• Warnings stay free. On iPhone with Pro, official severe weather warnings can start on your Lock Screen by themselves, where the app receives them. Ultra adds a storm-arrival card when a storm cell is heading your way, over the contiguous U.S.
• On iPhone with Pro, a sun tracker on your Lock Screen: the sun's path today, and when UV drops below 3.
• Mosquitoes: tonight's odds, with local health agency reports. With Pro, hour by hour and a private bite log.
• Today, redesigned: one tile for the day's light and the sun, and calmer cards. Fold cards down to one line, and they stay that way.
• Your Daily Briefing is now one row on Today. Tap play.
• Plan an outing with its activity, length and day. With Pro, Today also shows its best window that day, where available.
• Smoother scrolling on Today, and the forecast starts loading sooner.
• Shorter, clearer words throughout.
