Every line is saved on your device and, where available, synced through your own private iCloud. They never reach our servers, so we cannot read them, sell them, or train anything on them. Your child never needs an account, and never needs a screen.

FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS
We're Jeroen and Inez, a product builder and a lifespan psychologist, and parents ourselves. We kept our kids' lines in a paper notebook, we stopped too early, and most of those lines are gone. Little Lines is the place we wish we'd had.

Little Lines is free.
Everything the app does is open now: keeping lines, chapters, card styles, up to four children. No subscription, nothing to cancel.
This update also puts one of your lines on your home screen. It catches you while you are doing something else entirely, which turned out to be the moment these things land hardest: not when you go looking for them, but when you weren't.
Some lines are not for a screen other people can see over your shoulder. So every line has a switch for it. Turn it off and it stays exactly where it was, in your timeline and in your chapters, just not on your home screen.
Also fixed: the bar at the bottom of the screen could grow taller after you had been typing, and stay that way.
