HemDem brings Turkish cooking to your kitchen the way it is actually cooked: by people who grew up with it. Every recipe comes with a short video and, beside it, the steps written out properly — no scrolling past a life story to reach the ingredients.

PROPER AMOUNTS, NOTHING GUESSED
Ingredients are listed cleanly: grams, spoons, groups like “for the marinade” — exactly as they were written down.
A COOKING MODE THAT READS ALONG
One step per page, large and calm. The screen stays awake, your hands stay free — and HemDem reads each step aloud while you cook. Where a step names a time, a timer is waiting there.
SHOPPING LIST FROM THE RECIPE
Ingredients onto the list with one tap. Anything that appears in several recipes is added up.
SAVE AND ORGANISE
Tap the heart and it is saved — as many recipes as you like. Sort them into your own cookbooks if you want: Ramadan, Sunday breakfast, “I have to try this”.
ASK WHILE YOU COOK
“Can I use oil instead of butter?”, “What is salça?” — the kitchen assistant knows the recipe you have open and answers in your language.
IN YOUR LANGUAGE
German, Turkish and English throughout. And where someone wrote the recipe themselves, you read their own words.

Every recipe in HemDem is free and stays free. No dish sits behind a paywall.
HEMDEM PRO — OPTIONAL
Pro only adds convenience: the steps read aloud, the AI kitchen assistant without a limit, and as many cookbooks as you like. As a subscription (weekly, monthly, yearly) or once, forever. Prices are shown in the app before you buy; a subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your App Store account settings.
