Game Center leaderboards now open, and ten achievements have arrived. • Lap time leaderboards for every circuit and engine are live. Until now the dashboard only said nothing was set up. • Added ten achievements: hearing all eleven engines, a lap with every assist off, a tilt-steered lap, a manual-gearbox lap, passing 250 km/h, and more. • Find them in Settings. Progress keeps accumulating even without signing in to Game Center.

Drive the new circuit yourself. • Added a figure-eight circuit inspired by Suzuka, with a grade-separated bridge crossing and 30 m of elevation change. • Lap and sector timing with a saved personal best, replayed as a translucent ghost. • Reverse gear lets you back away from the barriers. • Photo-based materials on the track surface, run-off and grass. • Fixed the car appearing to jump back and forth while steering. • The whole circuit screen is now translated into ten languages.

A deeper, fuller exhaust note. • The bass slider now lifts the low end evenly across the rev range instead of only at certain RPMs. • Large-displacement engines get a longer blowdown per cylinder for a thicker body. • Mechanical noise that sounded harsh at high revs has been smoothed out. • Fixed phase cancellation that could make the bass thinner as you turned it up.

Faster pedal response. • Touches are read directly with no gesture arbitration, so the sound starts the moment you press. • In analog mode, a light press near the bottom of the pedal now opens at least 15%, removing the dead zone. • An ad may occasionally appear when you change the engine or transmission.

Four new engines and four new transmissions. • Flat-4 — opposing cylinders don't share a crankpin, so one bank fires twice within 180° and then waits 540°. The most uneven engine in the app. • Flat-6 — same layout, but each bank fires evenly every 240°, so there's no rumble. • V6 — the crankpin has to be split by 60° for the firing to come out even. • V10 — the bank angle lands exactly right, so it's even without a split pin. Added a 6-speed sequential dog box, 8-speed dual-clutch, 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic. The sequential shifts in 0.05s by cutting ignition instead of the clutch. Settings now has Bass. It tunes the resonance of the empty volume inside the muffler — exhaust bass comes from chamber size, not pipe length.
