Cloudless Cam is a small, fast viewer for IP cameras that speak RTSP or ONVIF. There is no account to create, no cloud service in the middle, and no subscription. Video goes straight from your camera to your phone over your own Wi-Fi — and nowhere else.
FINDS YOUR CAMERAS
Scan your network and Cloudless Cam lists the ONVIF cameras it finds, reading their names straight off the devices. Cameras often live on their own VLAN, separate from your phone, so you can point the search at any network — just enter an address on it and the whole range is searched.
ANY RTSP CAMERA
Axis, Amcrest, Dahua, Hikvision, Reolink and the rest. If it speaks RTSP, paste the address and watch it. No vendor lock-in, and no need for the app that came in the box.
ALL YOUR CAMERAS
Every camera you add gets a card on the dashboard, with the last frame you saw on it. Tap a card to go live. One stream at a time, on purpose: the picture gets the whole phone, not a sixteenth of it.
THE FULL PICTURE
Plays the camera's main stream, not the low-resolution sub-stream, because a modern iPhone display deserves the real image. Tap once for full screen, or just turn your phone — landscape hands the entire screen to the video. Works on iPad too.
LISTEN AND TALK
Hear what the camera hears, with a tap. On cameras with a speaker, press and hold Talk to speak through it — two-way audio over ONVIF, with no cloud relay in between.
PAN, TILT, ZOOM
Press and hold to move any ONVIF PTZ camera. The controls stay hidden on cameras that cannot move, so nothing on screen is there to tease you.
SNAPSHOTS
Save the current frame straight to Photos. Permission is requested the first time you save — not at launch.
BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY
No ads. No pop-ups. No upsells. No "free trial" that turns out to gate every feature. The app is free, and that is the whole story.
YOUR PASSWORDS STAY YOURS
Camera credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain and are only ever sent to the camera at the address you entered. Saved addresses are kept without their passwords attached. Nothing is collected, nothing is analysed, and there is no server for anything to be sent to.
WHAT THIS IS NOT
This is a viewer, not a recorder and not a security system. It does not record, does not send alerts, and should not be relied on where a missed image could cause harm. It needs to be on the same network as your cameras — there is no remote access, and that is deliberate.
