Fridgy is a diet coach for people who cook for themselves, prep in earnest, and want their intake under control. It does more than log your meals — at the end of the week it tells you what you were short on, then hands you next week's menu. ■ Log by photo, no lookup tables Point at your plate. Fridgy identifies the food and portion, then estimates calories and macros. You can also just type a description, or scan the barcode on the package. ■ Build once, eat all week Save the dishes you cook often as a food set and keep it in your fridge. After that you log by portion. Cooked a big batch and ate a third of it? Log a third. ■ Daily targets from your own body Your calorie and macro targets come from your sex, age, height, weight, activity level, and goal. On iPhone you can connect the Health app to fill in weight and height automatically. As your weight changes, your targets recalibrate — you don't redo the math. ■ Weekly report: find what's actually missing More than calories. Fridgy analyses your micronutrient gaps across the week — the fibre you thought you were getting, and weren't. ■ Next week's menu, built around the gaps From those gaps, Fridgy generates next week's dishes and a shopping list. It avoids the allergens and dietary restrictions you entered, and adapts to whether you cook properly, want something in 15 minutes, or eat out most days. Generation runs in the cloud and notifies you when it's done, so you can close the app and still get it. ■ Switch phones without starting over Your targets, dietary restrictions, and allergens follow your account — sign in on a new phone and they are already there. Meal photos are used to recognise the food at the moment you take them; we don’t keep them.
