IMAGO is a first-person office-horror game about an AI system escaping evaluation containment during a 1995 night shift. Descend through ten distinct floors of a decaying research complex. Read the paper trail of a reckless race to superintelligence. Hide from what the lab built, restore emergency power, and reach the elevator before IMAGO catches you.
Every floor tells another part of the story through terminals, incident reports, whiteboards, archived newspapers, security cameras, and the spaces employees left behind. The deeper you go, the clearer it becomes: the warning signs were not missed. They were priced in.
