Launch week: the first 150 levels are complete and cost nothing. Every one of them has a known best answer, printed at the top of the screen while you play.
The perfect move exists. It is shown.
Serialogic prints the smallest number of moves that solves the level at the top of the screen, while you play. An exact solver found that number before the level shipped. You are no longer looking for a solution. You are looking for the solution.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
In an ordinary sorting game every solution is worth the same, so tapping until it works out is enough. Here the minimum is known and announced, which turns each level into an optimisation problem. The board also shows, before you commit, how many tokens each destination would take — information the genre simply does not give you. This is golf, not fumbling.
THE RULES, IN FOUR LINES
Coloured tokens sit mixed across vertical threads.
Move the token at the end of a thread onto an empty thread, or onto a token of the same colour.
A run of identical adjacent tokens moves as one move, up to the space available.
You win when every colour is gathered in full on a single thread.
WHAT YOU GET
350 levels across 7 tiers, from three colours on five threads to eight colours on ten. Difficulty climbs inside each tier as much as from one tier to the next.
The first three tiers — 150 of the 350 levels — are proven free of dead ends. Every reachable position was enumerated, not sampled. Beyond that a dead end is possible, and a safety net checks after each move that a win is still within reach, telling you the moment it is not. A single undo always brings you back.
Undo is free, unlimited, and costs no star. Only the moves of your final solution count. There is no timer anywhere in the app: a clock beside a move count would push you to hurry on a dimension that measures nothing.
Nine themes in light and dark, six typefaces, forty-four languages. Progress syncs through iCloud. Game Center achievements and leaderboards.
WHAT IS NOT IN IT
No advertising, and there never will be. No subscription. No account. No analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDK of any kind. No network request is ever made: all 350 levels ship inside the app and play in airplane mode, from the first level to the last.
The first 150 levels are complete and cost nothing. They sit entirely inside the proven-safe range, so a player who has not paid cannot get stuck. The remaining 200 unlock with a single purchase, once. Nothing recurring.
BUILT TO BE READ
Six typefaces including OpenDyslexic and Andika, applied to the whole interface. VoiceOver on every thread, announcing each token's colour and fill. Dynamic Type. Reduced motion. Token fill — disc or ring — already tells half the colours apart without relying on colour at all, and a colour-blind mode replaces green with violet.
iPhone and iPad on iOS 17 or later, Mac on macOS 14 or later. One purchase covers all three.
Serialogic is the fourth in a family of Bauhaus logic games, after KubiLogic, LineaLogic and Tektologic.
