MyPurpose Finder — Discover Your Ikigai
Ikigai isn't a result. It's a trend line.
Most ikigai apps give you a one-time quiz, a generic "follow your passion" result, and then disappear from your life. MyPurpose Finder is different. It's built to be the app you actually return to — week after week, month after month — because your ikigai is something you live, not something you find once.
FIND YOUR IKIGAI IN UNDER 5 MINUTES
Start with a fast, thoughtful onboarding built around the four circles of ikigai — what you Love, what you're Good At, what the World Needs, and what you can be Paid For. Each circle pairs one multiple-choice question with one short text reflection.
Your answers generate a Ikigai Snapshot: a personalized archetype (The Harmonizer, The Passionate Explorer, The Purpose-Driven, and more), a classic four-circle Venn diagram showing how your circles overlap, and up to five career recommendations that fit your unique pattern.
THE WEEKLY CHECK-IN — YOUR CORE HABIT
Once a week, a gentle notification reminds you to check in. In under two minutes, rate how much you felt each of the four circles this week on simple 1–5 sliders, then optionally jot down one moment that felt like you. That's it.
WATCH YOUR IKIGAI EVOLVE
Your check-ins create a longitudinal dataset that's uniquely yours — your own life, charted over time. The Trends dashboard shows:
• Ikigai Balance Score — a 0–100 composite of how evenly your four circles align
• Per-circle trend lines — see how Love, Good At, World Needs, and Paid For each move over weeks and months
• Volatility — understand whether you're grounded or in flux
• Check-in consistency — your engagement, shown to you as a feature
• Theme tags — recurring patterns from your reflections (creativity, burnout, connection) surfaced automatically
• Life-event markers — tag weeks with major events and see how they correlate with shifts in your circles
Every four weeks, MyPurpose Finder auto-aggregates your check-ins into a Monthly Re-Score — a side-by-side comparison of how your ikigai shifted, with a notification that says "Your Ikigai shifted this month — see how."
DAILY AFFIRMATIONS
Each day, receive a personalized affirmation drawn from your archetype, your strongest and weakest pillars, and your onboarding reflections. Six categories — Purpose, Growth, Balance, Strength, Self-Compassion, and Action — give you the right words at the right moment.
JOURNAL — YOUR REFLECTION SPACE
A full journaling experience with customizable fonts, text colors, and page styles. Capture thoughts, track moods, and let MyPurpose Finder surface small wins from your entries so you can see the everyday joys that more than 90% of Japanese people describe as the true essence of ikigai.
GRATITUDE — ENJOY THE MOMENT
Daily gratitude reminders rooted in the Japanese philosophy of finding ikigai in life's small pleasures. MyPurpose Finder reads your journal entries and highlights your small wins — the quiet achievements and everyday moments that are easy to overlook but make up the texture of a meaningful life.
MILESTONE RECAPS
At 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year, MyPurpose Finder generates a shareable "Your Ikigai Journey" recap — a visual summary of how each circle trended over time. It's your personal year-in-review, and it's built to be shared.
STREAKS WITHOUT SHAME
Track consecutive weeks checked in, with a built-in grace week each month. No guilt-driven copy, no shame-based churn — just honest encouragement to keep showing up.
HONEST PRICING
Onboarding snapshot, weekly check-ins, radar and Venn charts, trends, streaks, affirmations, journal, and gratitude.
Premium unlocks: full historical export, deeper AI-generated insights on your trend data, unlimited milestone recap cards, and life-event correlation analysis.
