Lots of small fixes for smoother play. • Online: if you join a room but no seat comes, the game now tries joining again once on its own. Players who joined a room now also get the order bell and vibration. • Hosts can now show a large QR code in the room with SHOW QR. • For new players: CONTROL TIPS are shorter, and extra tips appear only when you seem stuck. Today's Menu now closes with a tap. • MORE TIME on the pause screen now takes effect on the current stage right away. • Versus the computer: the left and right kitchens are now equally strong. • The last-10-seconds warning now plays once per stage. Settings such as HAPTICS are now kept after you restart the app. • iPhone and iPad: pushing the stick up from the bottom edge is less likely to send you to the Home Screen. • Fixed overlapping text and labels on small screens.

Fixed choppy movement of other players in online play. • The device that joined a room no longer slows down from unnecessary work. • Your chef now moves smoothly again after falling into water and coming back.

Big update! • The online subscription has ended. Creating a room now needs the full game (Worlds 2-6), and everyone in the room can play all worlds. Joining is always free. • Spectating: up to 8 people per room. 4 players cook while 4 watch (watching is free). Between stages, stand up to watch or take an open seat • Swap in mid-round: from the pause screen's Players list, ask a spectator to swap with you. The swap happens the moment they tap Yes (the two who swap get no stars or score for that round) • Sushi Showdown: a new team mode where two kitchens compete, 1v1 or 2v2. Play against CPU chefs, on one screen, or online with a room code • Secret Menu: each of the six worlds hides a secret shop. Play a certain stage in a certain way and a side path appears on the map, plus an extra stage for those who find all six • Secret stars are counted separately. World 1's secret stage is free; Worlds 2–6 and the extra stage are part of the full game (no additional purchase) • Fixes and readability improvements for order tickets, star targets, achievement notices on the results screen, and more

When a parent approves the age check to report a problem or share a result, the approval now applies to that one time only. It no longer allows online play.

When you share a room code, the message now includes a link to get the game, so friends who don't have it yet can download it and join you right away. You can now send your stage results to friends as a picture (when you earn at least one star). You can now report a problem right away from Settings > Other. Other small improvements.

New store screenshots and trailer. • Story scenes reshot: the camera now frames whoever is speaking, and the dialogue has been rewritten to read more easily. The speaker marker now matches that chef's hat color. • The kitchen camera pulls back a little so order tickets no longer hide the stations. • Cleaner results screen. • Stage 2-6: facing the floodgate and pressing the action button now rings the bell, and the bell glows when you push against a closed gate. • New gimmick boards now show a picture. • Star targets for 4-2 and 2-4 have been rebalanced.
