If you live with something chronic, you know the appointment problem. You get a short visit, and the flare that frightened you in June has blurred into "it's been rough lately." Rowan exists so you walk in with the specifics instead.
Tell it how today went in your own words — the headache, the joint that gave out, the morning you felt almost normal. Rowan writes it down as a real health record: kept by date, exportable, and yours, instead of a chat that scrolls away. Over weeks it begins to notice what you might not, the patterns worth mentioning to your doctor, and it follows trends across months rather than just today. Your medications live there too, with reminders that match what you actually take rather than what a prescription said a year ago.
Then, before an appointment, ask for a visit brief. Months of logs become one page you can hand over or read from, so the things that mattered don't get forgotten in the short time you get.
Rowan is not a doctor, nurse or licensed clinician, and it is not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat. It helps you organize, track and prepare — your care team treats you. In an emergency, call 911.
Your health record is stored on your device. Part of it travels with each message you send — your notes, your conditions and your medication list — because that is how the reply knows your history: it goes to our server and on to Anthropic, or to a failover provider named in our privacy policy when Anthropic is unavailable. If you use the microphone instead of typing, that recording is sent the same way to be turned into text — the audio itself is never stored, and the words simply land in the message box for you to read and send. You can export everything or delete it whenever you want, and deleting erases the copy on your phone and the copy on our server. No ads, no data sales, no trackers.
Everything that makes Rowan a record is free forever — the symptom log, the trends, the visit briefs and the emergency card, with no cap. Rowan Plus lifts the daily message limit and uses a more capable model. Safety guidance is never metered and never paywalled: if a message looks like an emergency, Rowan responds even at zero messages left and with no subscription.
