帆立は単体なら美味い。だがスープに入れた瞬間、すべてが帆立味になる。
「ほたてパンデミック」は、具材になったプレイヤーたちが帆立の魔の手から逃げまわるオンライン対戦バカゲー。帆立に触れた者は帆立となり、かつての仲間を追いはじめる。具材たちの夢は、最高のカレーになること。マップに散らばる調味料を集め、全員が帆立味にされる前に、中央の鍋でカレーを完成させろ!
■ 3つのゲームモード
・感染おに … 具材 vs 帆立。逃げ切るか、カレーを完成させれば具材の勝ち(2〜8人)
・帆立グランプリ … 全員が帆立。制限時間内に食材を何個食べたかを競うスコアレース(2〜8人)
・帆立の大群 … 全員が具材。押し寄せるAI帆立の波を凌いでカレーを完成させる協力戦(2〜4人)
ホストがモードと対戦時間(90秒/2分/3分)を選ぶだけ。試合後にその場で次のモードへ移れます。
■ 遊び方はシンプル
・部屋コードを共有するだけで合流。アカウント登録は不要
・操作は移動スティック+ボタン。ルール説明は初回起動の30秒デモで終わる
・1試合90秒〜3分。友達が2人集まればすぐ始められます
■ 捕まっても終わりじゃない
・帆立に触れられたら脱落ではなく、帆立チームに寝返って今度は追う側に
・全員が最後の1秒まで遊べる感染おにごっこ方式
・帆立は貝殻の「パクパク」ジェット噴射で移動。連打のリズムが上手いほど速い
■ 個性豊かな11種の具材
・たまねぎの催涙、ねぎの死んだふり、じゃがいものゴロゴロタックル…
・カレールーは味を隠して感染を無効化、牛肉は霜降りオーラで身を挺した囮に
・具材はロビーで早い者勝ち。役割分担がチームの命運を分ける
■ 帆立の技は、本物のホタテの生態から
・帆走 … 殻を帆にして海を渡るという「ほたて」の名の由来から。高速で直進、ただし曲がれない
・濾過吸引 … 大量の海水を濾しとる濾過摂食から。まわりのものを吸い寄せる
・足糸 … 稚貝が糸で岩にくっつく習性から。粘糸を飛ばして相手をその場に縛る
・百眼ソナー … 帆立の目は約200個。動く影に強く反応するので、じっと止まれば映りません
■ 勝利条件
・感染おに … 帆立は全員の帆立化、具材は生き延びるかカレー完成
・帆立グランプリ … 制限時間内に食材を一番多く食べたプレイヤーの勝ち
・帆立の大群 … カレー完成で勝利、全員が漬け込まれたら敗北
友達とボイスチャットをつなぎながら「うわ、帆立になった!」「カレーあと2個!」と叫ぶ数分間をどうぞ。
※オンライン対戦にはインターネット接続が必要です。
※対戦は部屋コードで集まるフレンドマッチ方式です(見知らぬ人とのマッチングはありません)。
