I'm really happy I found this app! For a free animation app — and especially for someone who's just starting to learn animation — I think it's more than capable and does its job very well.I especially appreciate that there don't seem to be arbitrary limitations on layers, frames, or FPS. With a canvas size of up to 1080×1080, everything works smoothly for me, and that's already more than enough for learning animation.I do have some feedback that might be useful for future updates. I'm using a 12-inch iPad with an M4 chip, so the device itself should have plenty of performance. However, when either dimension of the canvas goes above 1080 px, I sometimes experience noticeable stylus lag. It might be a compatibility issue, or simply something that still needs optimization since the app is relatively new.I've noticed two specific issues:1. Sometimes when the stylus touches the screen, the cursor seems to freeze. I can continue moving the stylus and lift it from the screen, but the line doesn't follow it in real time. Then, about 1–2 seconds later, the entire stroke appears at once.2. Occasionally the opposite happens: the cursor follows the stylus without any delay, but becomes offset diagonally down and to the right. So the line is drawn below and to the right of where the stylus is actually touching the screen. Not very convenient for me — although perhaps left-handed artists might accidentally consider it a feature, haha.I checked my stylus settings and they don't seem to be the cause, so again, it may be related to compatibility or optimization.At 1080×1080, however, the app works very well for me. For learning animation, that's absolutely enough, and I'm genuinely glad I found Animatia. It's surprisingly capable for a free app, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops!
