The skeleton now keeps up with fast movement. Detection loses the climber when they are blurred, and a climber is blurred exactly when they are moving fastest — so the moments worth watching were the ones Span had least to draw. Those frames are now kept, and playback follows the curve of the movement between them instead of cutting a straight line across it. Playback also smooths the skeleton now, and does it without adding any lag: the whole climb is already on the device, so the smoothing can look forwards as well as back. It eases off wherever you are moving, so a throw stays as sharp as it happened. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE • The overlay toggles now change a climb while you are watching it, including while paused. Recorded climbs keep their pose data separately, so the skeleton is drawn live rather than baked into the video. • Imported photos show a skeleton, and can generate a stick figure. • Reach Ring, Reach Envelope, Scale Bar and Arm Extension finally show what they do in the settings preview.
