3MF models appear in the 3D preview again. Since 2.2.0, some showed only their bounding box, and the app could quit when opening them. A 3MF file prepared in a slicer such as Bambu Studio keeps the size you gave it, and an object printed several times appears that many times. Dimensions, surface area and volume are now correct. In the Files app, the preview of a multi-part 3MF no longer shows duplicate objects.

A new welcome screen introduces Schama in four pages: what the app does, where your data goes (iCloud, backup folder, privacy), creating a first library from a folder, and the handbook. An item's details now match the Mac: File, Source, Print and 3MF or STL tabs, detailed geometry (volume, surface area, triangles, watertightness), tags and comments edited in place, object identification and a description written on device. On iPad, the columns step aside when you open an item to give it the whole screen; swipe right to bring them back. Choose the appearance in Settings: Light, Dark or System. Large STL and 3MF files open with less memory, the 3D preview can be controlled with VoiceOver, and file types are translated in the Files app.

Schama now backs up your catalog every day: entries, libraries, tags, prints and thumbnails, in the folder of your choice. Your 3D files stay where they are. A copy is also made before every group deletion, before the examples are removed and before a folder is imported. In Settings, the Backups section lists your copies; restoring one adds what is missing, without deleting anything. On iPad, Schama makes the most of the large screen: the system sidebar, menus and keyboard shortcuts, drag and drop of items onto a library, and any item can open in its own window. On iPhone, search has its own tab, importing starts from the Catalog, and a swipe adds a favorite or deletes an item. The Libraries tab also gathers file types and files to check. Every item now has a full menu: favorite, share, add to a library, delete. Your actions can be undone (shake, or ⌘Z with a keyboard), and Schama asks before removing an iCloud copy or discarding changes. Settings are reorganized into sections. A Favorites list gathers the items you've marked as favorites, and the catalog can now also be sorted by tags. A built-in handbook explains Schama step by step, even offline: it opens from the welcome screen, then at any time from Settings (and the Help menu on iPad). In the Files app, 3MF and STL models now have a 3D preview with their dimensions, volume and estimated weight, and "Open in Schama" adds them to the catalog. Siri and Shortcuts actions are translated into every language, and two new actions convert an item or return its details. STL dimensions are in real millimeters, the 3D preview shows the whole item, a print can be edited from the item page, and the app stays readable at the largest text sizes and with VoiceOver. 3MF models now display with sharp edges, like STL files, and fill the preview on their item page, with their dimensions and measuring tools.

The example models can now be removed in a single action, from Settings. They do not come back on the next launch. That removal only touches the files Schama installed. A model you had imported yourself under the same name, a 3DBenchy for instance, could disappear from the catalog along with them. It no longer can. Examples no longer duplicate themselves from one device to another when the catalog syncs through iCloud. The Licences screen, in About, lists the licences of the components and models shipped with the app. Under the hood, Schama has moved to Swift 6 with strict concurrency, groundwork that rules out a whole family of concurrent access errors.
