FOUR WAYS TO MEASURE
• Field: move the map under the crosshair and drop one corner at a time. Far more precise than tapping with a thumb.
• Distance: fence runs, driveways, irrigation line, road frontage.
• Circle: centre and radius, for pivots, sprinkler throw and spray buffers.
• Marker: pin a gate, a well, a washout, a soil sample.

SPLIT AND COMBINE
Cut a field in two with a straight line: half to corn, half to beans, or the back forty being sold off. Combine adjacent plots into a single total.
HONEST ABOUT ACCURACY
Area is computed on the globe, not on the flat map, so it stays correct at any latitude. Corners you place on satellite imagery are as sharp as the imagery itself, which beats a GPS fix taken under trees or beside a building. It is a working tool, not a legal survey.

Everything you have measured stays on the phone and opens without a connection. Nothing is uploaded, and there is nothing to log in to.
