Track every shared bill in your building — gas, lift, guard, generator — split
it across the right flats, and see at a glance who has paid and who still owes.
Baantlo keeps the shared expenses of an apartment building straight, so nobody
has to keep a ledger in a notebook or argue over a WhatsApp thread.
Add your building, add the residents, and record the bills as they arrive. Each
bill is split across exactly the flats it applies to — the lift contract across
the upper floors, the gas riser across the lower ones, the guard's salary across
everyone. Baantlo does the arithmetic and carries unpaid balances into the next
month.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Add your building and invite residents with a six-character code
• Add residents who don't have the app yet — their dues attach automatically
when they sign up with the same mobile number
• Record bills by category: utilities, cleaning, security, water, generator,
repairs, or your own
• Split each bill across only the flats it applies to
• Set up bills that repeat every month — the guard's salary, fixed maintenance —
and have them added for you at the start of each month
• Record full or partial payments, with a note
• See each resident's statement: what they were charged, what they paid, what
they still owe
• Read a monthly report with a category breakdown and every resident's carried
balance, and share it as plain text
BUILT FOR HOW BUILDINGS ACTUALLY WORK
Splits never lose a rupee — when an amount doesn't divide evenly, the remainder
is distributed rather than dropped. Unpaid balances carry forward month to
month. A resident who moves in halfway through a month is not charged for bills
raised before they arrived, and a resident who moves out has to settle up before
they can be removed, so the remaining residents don't quietly absorb the debt.
PRIVACY
No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Baantlo stores your name, your contact
details and the bills you record — nothing else. Delete your account from
inside the app at any time and everything goes with it.
