wanpo helps dog owners check the local weather, air temperature, feels-like temperature, and estimated ground-surface temperature before a walk.
Choose asphalt, concrete, or grass/soil, and the app displays a simple Safe, Caution, or Stop reference. Surface temperature is estimated from weather data such as solar radiation, wind, humidity, precipitation, and ground temperature, with an uncertainty range shown.
Before a walk, wanpo guides you through a 7-second palm-on-ground safety check. If the surface feels too hot to keep your hand on, cancel the walk.
In rain or snow, the selected dog character automatically changes into a light-blue raincoat. After starting a walk, you may optionally watch a rewarded ad to earn paw points and exchange them for new characters. Ads are never shown during the 7-second safety check and never affect the safety result.
Core safety guidance is free. The one-time-purchase wanpo Pro adds detailed dog profiles, multiple dogs, saved locations, custom notifications, a Home Screen widget, walk logs, family sharing cards, all characters, and more.
Displayed surface temperatures are estimates, not measurements from a physical thermometer. Always check the actual ground and surroundings, and stop the walk if the surface is hot, slippery, visibility is poor, or you notice any other risk.

wanpo Pro now lets you choose your main companion on the Home and pre-walk check screens: your dog's photo or the selected breed character. Rainy-day photos and raincoat characters remain supported, with improved setting persistence and display stability.
