22 original film, CCD, VHS and Super 8 cameras. Shoot photos or video, stack lenses and effects, and keep every original private and on-device. FilmFold isn't a filter app. Every preset is a real camera body — its own aspect ratio, optics, controls, and film-development process — so switching cameras changes how you shoot, not just how the photo looks afterward. CAMERA BODIES, NOT FILTERS Twenty-two original camera bodies span 35mm film, medium format, CCD point-and-shoots, instant film, VHS camcorders, and Super 8. Pocket 35 burns warm and faded with a red light leak and a date stamp. Soft CCD stays cold and clean with a cold flash and digital noise. Mono 16 goes high-contrast black and white with heavy grain and gate weave. VHS, Tape 99, Warm 8, and Cine 24 shoot video, with scanlines, chromatic noise, flicker, and tape wobble baked directly into the file. LENSES AND ACCESSORIES STACK LIKE REAL GEAR Add a lens for real optical distortion and chromatic aberration, a flash for period-correct color temperature, a diffusion filter, or a push-processed film stock. Each one layers its own physical effect on top of the camera body instead of replacing it. A REAL PHOTOCHEMICAL PIPELINE FilmFold's engine works the way film actually does: exposure and grain happen in linear light, contrast is a per-channel characteristic curve in log space, highlights roll off with an exponential shoulder instead of clipping, and halation is red-orange light that bled through the emulsion and bounced back — not a generic bloom. Every camera has its own primary color response, dye coupling, and grain structure. SHOOT PHOTO OR VIDEO Video isn't a static LUT slapped on top. Every frame is graded on-device, frame by frame, with camera response curves sampled from real film stocks and CCD sensors, and the audio stays untouched. YOUR ORIGINAL IS ALWAYS SAFE Every capture keeps its untouched original. Reprocess with a different camera, lens, or adjustment as many times as you want — nothing is ever degraded or lost. DOUBLE EXPOSURE, DONE PROPERLY Layer two frames together the way film cameras do, not a fake blend applied after the fact. PRIVATE BY DESIGN FilmFold runs entirely on your device. No account, no analytics, no upload — your photos and videos never leave your phone unless you choose to share them. FilmFold Pro unlocks the full camera catalog, including Halo 400, Square Pop, Night CCD, and Cine 24. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS FilmFold Pro is offered as an auto-renewable annual subscription (US$5.99 per year, with the first 7 days free) or as a one-time Lifetime purchase (US$19.99, which does not renew). Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending. Move anywhere between the widest frame a camera was built for and the full reach of your phone, or open the frame to the entire sensor with WIDE. Adjustments, rebuilt. Brilliance, black point and vibrance join the panel. The sliders read more clearly at a glance, and pressing and holding any control puts it back to what the camera does on its own.
