New for the holidays: a Friendsgiving & Thanksgiving pack. Pick Thanksgiving or the new Friendsgiving occasion and Tablescape gets ready for the big meal: • A ready-made bring list: the Thanksgiving classics, or a Friendsgiving potluck with room for a dish from everyone's family table. Edit any of it. • A turkey timeline in your Host Kit: set the bird's weight and see when to start thawing, when it goes in the oven and when it comes out to rest, worked back from your start time, with a reminder on thaw day. • "Around the table": gratitude questions to read out once everyone's served, also printed in your dinner packet.

Getting ready for Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving: a link from the App Store can now open Tablescape straight to hosting a Thanksgiving dinner, with the occasion already picked.

Invite your guests the moment the dinner exists. Right after you create a dinner, Tablescape now offers to send the invitation with your guest link. Not ready yet? Tap Later and invite from the dinner whenever you like. Small fixes and polish throughout.

Tablescape 2.0 is the biggest update yet. New: a Shabbat and Jewish holidays pack. Pick Shabbat, Rosh Hashanah, Sukkot, Chanukah, Purim, the Passover Seder or Shavuot as a dinner's occasion and the app follows: candle-lighting times from your location (only when you turn it on), a table guide from Derekh Learning in your Host Kit, Shabbat blessings, and a Friday packet that prints it all before candles. Any other dinner looks exactly as it always has. Also new: • Guests get their own Lock Screen view on dinner day, with what they're bringing, when to arrive and where • Claim a bring-list item with one tap, right from the widget • Drag to reorder tables and your bring list, saved and synced • "Why this seating?" explains each table in a line • Returning guests come with a memory: last visit, what they brought, what they can't eat • A thank-you note drafted for you when you archive a dinner • Start a shared iCloud photo album for the dinner • Translate an invite for a guest who reads another language, on your device • Room photos are now read by your iPhone's own vision model where available: it counts your tables and chairs and you adjust from there • "Build my dinner packet" from Siri, a new extra-large iPad widget, and packets that save to Files as documents or plain text • Redeem a Host Unlock code from the paywall or Settings • A plain invite image and calendar file for guests without the app, a first-launch walkthrough, and the whole app in Hebrew • A refreshed look for iOS 26 and 27 Bug fixes and polish.

Your first dinner is now free to host, start to finish — guests, RSVPs, seating, and the menu planner, no purchase needed. Hosting a second dinner (or duplicating one, or starting from a template) now uses the same one-time Host Unlock, with Family Sharing covered. Also new: a home-screen widget for your next dinner and a dinner-day Live Activity with a live countdown. Bug fixes and polish.
