Japanese is here(lessons are being added) — the app now speaks ten languages. • Lock screen controls on iPhone: play, pause and skip without unlocking. • Time you spend listening with the screen off now counts towards your daily goal. Reviews done as audio count too. • A lesson you finish now leaves your queue straight away, and stays gone. • Study text: tap to select a single word, and long lessons no longer lose everything after the first line. • Downloads: a Downloads screen in Settings, "Download all" actually finishes, cancelling works, and downloads are grouped by course. • You stay signed in. Locking your phone no longer ends your session. • Your streak no longer reads zero just because you were offline. • The lesson-done screen waits for you instead of jumping to the next lesson after ten seconds. • Home shows the level you are actually on.

Premium subscribers can now download lessons to the phone and keep learning with no connection — audio lessons and written reviews alike, including transcripts, flashcards and their audio. Your queue, your progress and your streak all keep working on a plane. A queue you control. See what's coming next on Home, reorder it, download individual lessons or the whole queue, and remove downloads you're finished with. Dozens of fixes, most of them found on real devices: sessions no longer drop when you lose signal, progress made offline is saved and syncs when you're back, and the player, reviews and store screens all behave sensibly without a connection.
