Shotline: Golf Shot Tracker
Real club distances on Watch
Free · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
Your bag now builds itself. Pick a club on the watch after each shot and Shotline turns your own measurements into real yardages, gapping, and a caddie.
Shotline measures the shots you actually hit.
Most golf apps hand you a distance chart and let you guess where you fit on it. Shotline does something simpler and more honest: it marks the spot you swung from, follows you to your ball, and tells you exactly how far it finished — carry and roll, the number that decides your next club.
TWO TAPS. NOTHING ELSE.
Tap Mark start before you swing. Walk to your ball. Tap Mark ball. That is the entire workflow, and it all happens on your wrist. No phone out of your pocket, no course to download, no hole to set up before you play.
YOUR REAL CLUB DISTANCES
Pick a club right after the measurement and Shotline starts building your bag. Every club gets a typical distance, a best strike, and the honest spread in between — drawn from your own swings, not from an average golfer's.
Shotline uses the median rather than the mean, so one shank on a wet Tuesday never moves the number you rely on.
A CADDIE THAT ONLY KNOWS YOU
Dial in a yardage and Shotline names the club, with the distance and shot count it is basing that on. Gapping shows where your bag has a hole in it — the yardage no club in your set actually covers.
SEE THE ROUND ON THE MAP
Every shot is drawn twice: the straight line the ball travelled and the path you walked to reach it. Filter to a single hole to study it, or zoom out to watch the whole round unfold across the course.
HOLE BY HOLE
Shots group themselves under the hole you were on, with the hole counter living on the watch so nothing lands in the wrong place. Add a club or a note afterwards on the phone whenever you like.
ON APPLE WATCH
Shotline runs on its own on Apple Watch — the iPhone can stay in the bag or stay home. Haptics confirm every mark so you can keep your eyes on the fairway. Check your club distances on your wrist when the yardage question comes up, which is exactly where it comes up. Optional Apple Health integration saves the round as a golf workout with its route.
IT IS YOUR DATA
Shotline collects nothing. No account, no sign-up, no server. Rounds live on your devices and sync between watch and phone directly. Export any round as CSV or share a plain-text recap whenever you want it somewhere else.
A NOTE ON ACCURACY
Shotline measures with GPS, so it reports where your ball finished rather than where it landed. Readings are honest about their own margin — every shot records the accuracy it was measured at.
