KifKif — Convertisseur
164 currencies, even offline
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Faced with a price tag abroad, you have no time to work it out and, often, no signal. KifKif keeps the latest rates: it opens and answers, even in flight mode.
How much is that, really?
Faced with a price tag abroad, you have neither the time to work it out nor, necessarily, a connection. KifKif keeps the latest rates on hand: the app opens and answers straight away, on a plane, in a basement or on the other side of the world.
WORKS OFFLINE
Rates are kept on your device and refreshed in the background whenever the network allows. The app stays usable with no connection at all — and always tells you how old the rate on screen is, so you know what you are looking at.
164 CURRENCIES, 19 CRYPTOCURRENCIES
From the euro to the Vietnamese dong, sorted by continent and searchable by name or by code. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and the rest, with their real logos and enough decimals for the result to mean something.
YOUR FAVOURITES, AT A GLANCE
A tab showing all your usual currencies against your starting one, all at once. No more converting them one by one.
A KEYPAD FOR HURRIED THUMBS
An option replaces the system keyboard with large keys: you type fast, one-handed, without aiming.
WIDGETS AND SIRI
Today's rate on your home screen, amounts you can tap straight on it, and voice conversion that works offline too.
ON IPAD
A proper wide layout: the converter on one side, your favourites on the other, and a permanent keypad. Not a stretched iPhone.
AND ON YOUR WRIST
Hands full, phone at the bottom of the bag. Two currencies, an amount, the result. Nothing else. Your favourites carry over from the iPhone, and the Watch app fetches its own rates: it works on its own.
NO DATA ABOUT YOU LEAVES THE DEVICE
No account, no server of ours, no adverts, no trackers. KifKif connects to the internet for one thing only: to fetch public exchange rates. Those requests contain nothing about you — no identifier, no amount, nothing about what you convert.
The app is free and will stay that way. An optional tip sits in the settings; it unlocks nothing, it is simply a thank you.
Available in French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Hebrew and Arabic.

Quick amounts now adapt to every currency, not just a handful. The Costa Rican colón, the Lebanese pound and the Iranian rial finally offer shortcuts on their own scale.
On iPad, hardware keyboards finally work: the amount field no longer locks itself when a Magic Keyboard is attached. The numeric keypad setting is honoured there too, where it used to be ignored in landscape.
