app. See what's actually happening near you, meet the people on your block,
and skip the ads, the algorithms, and the argument threads.
THE PORCH LIGHT
Turn your light on and neighbors nearby see it glowing: come say hi, snacks
out, yard sale, could use a hand, or any vibe you type yourself. It switches
itself off. Wave at a lit porch, or say hello directly. It's the friendliest
button in any neighborhood app.
A FEED WORTH READING
Posts from inside your radius, and you choose how far (1–10 miles). Updates,
safety notes, recommendations, free & for sale, lost & found. Chronological.
No engagement algorithm. No ads, ever.

THE ICE CREAM TRUCK
Spot the truck, tap once, and neighbors nearby get a heads up before it
drives off. Anyone can say whether it's still around. Reports are
anonymous and the pin clears itself.
EVERYONE'S NEIGHBORHOOD
Any post or comment written in another language can be translated with a
tap, free, using your iPhone's own translation.
REAL CONVERSATIONS
Comment on posts or message neighbors directly. Report and block controls
are one tap away, and our community guidelines are short, human, and
enforced.
PRIVACY BY DESIGN
Your exact address is never stored. Vicini keeps only a rough area (about
a block's worth of blur). You decide what to share, person by person.
Free to use. No ads, no data sales. Optional Vicini+ ($2.99/mo or
$19.99/yr after a 30-day free trial) adds longer porch lights, six colours
to glow in, weekly scheduling so your light turns itself on, and a
supporter badge. It keeps the whole thing ad-free for everyone.

a mile get a heads up before it drives off, and anyone can say whether it's
still around. Reports are anonymous and the pin clears itself.
Also in this update:
• The porch light now explains itself. New neighbors see what it does, and
a preview of exactly what other people see when yours is on, before they
ever turn it on.
• Translate any post or comment with a tap. Free, on your iPhone, in every
language your phone supports.
• Vicini+ can now pick a colour for your porch light, and put it on a
weekly schedule so it turns itself on.
• A quieter, friendlier empty feed that helps you invite the neighbors who
aren't here yet.
• Notification controls live in your profile. Truck alerts are limited to
one every half hour, and you'll never be pinged about a truck you
reported yourself.
