Small improvements: • Dogs without a photo now show an illustration of their breed (Shiba, Toy Poodle, Chihuahua, Labrador and more) • When adding a dog, pick the breed from a row of faces, or browse the full list of breeds

Small improvements: • When you use miles, walk splits now show per mile, with pace per mile (they were still in kilometers) • Fresh App Store screenshots

Thank you to everyone who left a review. Based on your feedback, we've rebuilt walk tracking. • Walks save automatically the moment you finish — no more lost walks from a missed Save button • If the app closes mid-walk, you can pick up right where you left off • Bigger pee and poo buttons, plus logging right from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island • Pan the map freely during a walk. Your route is left as paw prints you can revisit anytime • All-new medals: streak flames, personal bests, stamps, and 30 secret medals you only discover by earning them • Medicines can now repeat daily, every few days, on set weekdays, or monthly — add as many as you need • Rearrange Home your way, or hide the buddy entirely • Skipping a walk on a dangerously hot day no longer breaks your streak • A cleaner, simpler Settings screen

Paw Weather Pro is back to three choices: monthly, yearly, or a one-time purchase. If you started the 14-day trial in 1.4.0, it keeps working until it ends. We also fixed headings and numbers getting cut off at the top with larger text sizes, and polished the weight scale, medicine log and plan calendar. The share sheet no longer shows up as a small, cut-off box on iOS 26.

Logging weight and medicine is now a tap. Weight starts from the last value, you adjust with + and –, and you see the change right away. Save a medicine once and you can see morning and evening doses at a glance, with a reminder if one is missed. Care plans now have a calendar and cover grooming, pet hotel stays and trips. Stays and trips get a packing list, how long ago the last vaccine was logged, and how many doses to pack. For trips, you can see the walk forecast at your destination from a week before you leave. For the colder months: when a coat would help, a suggested walk length on cold days, a reminder to wipe paws when ice or road-salt conditions are likely, a heads-up when it is dark out, and an alert on cold nights. All of it uses the same thresholds as the walk check and adjusts to your dog's size and coat. The weight chart scale was also reworked so small day-to-day changes no longer look like big swings.

After you finish saving a walk, you may occasionally see a prompt asking you to rate Paw Weather on the App Store. To keep this from being annoying, it won't appear for your first 3 saved walks, and never more than once every 90 days. Nothing about the walk safety check or your records has changed.

Everything new in 1.3.0 is free. • WALK COURSES. Tap “Choose a course” on Today for a 15–60 minute loop past nearby parks, with walking directions from Apple Maps. After 3 similar walks, your “usual routes” show up too — worked out on your phone from your own walks. During a danger window you get the next safe time to start instead of a course. • WALKING TIME & PACE. Each walk now shows the time you were actually moving (stops not counted) and your pace. • CONDITION. Log stool, appetite and energy with a tap. If one stays off for several days, the app tells you exactly that — how many days in a row — and nothing more. It is not medical advice. • CARE PLANS. Add vet visits, vaccines and preventives, and get a notification on your phone before each date. Mark one done in the Log tab and it's saved as a record. • LOOK BACK. Switch the weight graph between 1 month, 3 months and 1 year, and see stool, appetite and energy as a day-by-day grid. (Records older than 7 days are still part of Pro.) • MEMORIES can now be text only — no photo needed. • A LIVELIER BUDDY. The Shiba wanders around the room, turns naturally, and reacts differently depending on where you pet it. • TRICKS. Sit, Shake, Down, Roll over and Spin. • TOYS. Drag the plush toy and hold still — it pounces and shakes it. Or play tug-of-war with a rope. Playing is just for fun; it doesn't earn points. • PRIVACY. Your recorded routes never leave your phone. Only when you ask for a course are the start point and waypoints sent to Apple Maps for walking directions.

Paw Weather now keeps the whole day with your dog — not just the pavement check. • RECORD THE WALK. Time, route, pee, poo, water and notes — and snap photos on the way. The verdict, time, distance and pavement temperature stay on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. End with a long press. • YOUR DOG FIRST. The home screen opens on your real dog. Log meals, water, walks, baths, weight and medicine in one tap, and set a birthday. • LOOK BACK. Walks, time outside and weight trends at a glance. • MEMORIES. Your photos and notes, laid out like an album. • A SHIBA BUDDY. It reacts to the weather and your care, watches out the window, waits by the door at walk time — and after the walk, plays fetch: it leaps, dives, or sometimes bonks the ball with its nose. • PAW POINTS are a weekly goal, earned mostly by real walks and care. • REMINDERS since the last meal or walk. • WINTER MODE. Frozen pavement, road-salt conditions and wind chill are now part of the verdict. • WORLDWIDE. Pick any of 160+ cities or use your location; forecasts outside the U.S. come from MET Norway (CC BY 4.0). • THE WEEK TAB shows every day's full forecast, with the risky numbers colored. • JAPANESE, with °C, km and m/s by region. • Better VoiceOver labels and large-text layouts. • PAW WEATHER PRO now comes as a monthly plan with a free trial, a yearly plan, or a one-time purchase. Everyone who already bought the one-time unlock keeps it. • The app is now named Paw Weather.

• Fixed an issue where a purchase could be lost after reinstalling or switching devices. Restore Purchases now finds it reliably. • Fixed a case where the app could stay locked for a moment right after buying. • The app now recovers on its own from bad cached data, instead of needing a reinstall.
