With the on-device plan, no audio and no text ever leaves your machine. In cloud mode, our servers record usage for billing and never store your conversations — history lives only on your machine.
FAQ
Q: Is it a subscription?
A: The cloud membership is an auto-renewing subscription with several tiers; each period it adds cloud translation minutes, and minutes you don't use stay valid through the next period. On-device is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it also unlocks self-hosted AI.
Q: Do I need to stay online?
A: Cloud needs a connection, and self-hosted AI needs to reach your own server. On-device mode runs entirely offline once the models are downloaded.
